Time only separates when the rest of us catch up.He goes on to describe the fifth world directly: a level of perception that cannot see flesh, cannot see weather, cannot see form at all - and yet your feet are still planted on this earth. "You have been lifted into incorporeality." There are no men or women there, he says, only Sons of God - and the light of that world does not need a sun, because the Christ Light in you is brighter than it.Side two turns to the Father-son relationship and a practical question: how do you raise a child toward that consciousness without ever saying the word Christ out loud? Herb answers it with five qualities, starting with fidelity to Truth, and ends the class on the deceptively simple line: "Let your light shine. The great mistake is not sin, and it is not doubt. According to Herb Fitch it is this: you have been using your mind to look for God."The mind is not the instrument of God. The mind is the instrument of the world mind, and it will lead you on many a fancy chase." It tells you one day that it is brilliant, the next day that it has the answer, and the day after that it has found a better one - and you run between solutions your whole life because the mind is so active and so convincing. Truth, he says, does not come through the mind at all. Truth comes through the Soul, and the Soul makes no great declarations. It simply rests in the Truth and waits for you to be still.This is Class 4: "The Great Mistake" - the fourth class of the six-part 1992 St. Petersburg Seminar, given in Florida by Infinite Way teacher Herb Fitch. He opens on the modern world that had just become computerised, and makes an unexpected comparison: the computer belongs to the world of man, but Spirit is God's computer - nothing goes wrong in it, no part fails, and the answers never change.From there he goes after the one thing you have never seen and cannot live without: the substance of life. There is one sentence buried in Revelation that Herb Fitch calls the dividing line between mortals and immortals, and almost nobody reads it as a practical instruction: "that there should be time no longer."His conclusion is blunt. As long as you are in time, you are mortal. Whoever has attained the consciousness of no time is then privileged to receive the blessings of Spirit.
