Every year, about 36,000 pregnant women die in Nigeria.
That's 100 pregnant women dying per day. Four pregnant women die every hour.
Nigeria, the Giant of Africa, has the highest maternal mortality in Africa. More women die during pregnancy, while giving birth, or after giving birth here in Nigeria than anywhere else in Africa.
Join us in this episode along with Dr. Cecilia Banga as we dig into the many ways that pregnancy can kill a woman (if it is not managed properly).
