Today we return after a long absence to talk with Joseph Jacques of Harmonic Humanity. They arrived in Santa Cruz in January, 2022 and have already distributed 800 "HERO", albums thus far. This equals $16k worth of revenue for those on the streets of Santa Cruz. The model is simply. Great musicians donating great music to great individuals who are ready to make a change in their lives. Everyone deserves employment. Harmonic Humanity’s CD program provides an immediate job to any homeless, disabled or low-income individual living on the street. Homeless individuals are offered 10 free HERO albums plus 10 Be Love Revolution Post cards to get started which they can sell on the streets to raise their initial $250. The program offers a dignified way for these homeless individuals to make their own money, build respect and rise up.

Today on part two of our conversation with Danny Sanchez we talk about his organization, The City Peace Project. The City Peace Project exists as a catalyst that empowers youth to thrive in every sphere of life. Through personal mentorship, TCPP promotes life altering values and skills that equip students to cultivate lives marked by love and peace.
The City Peace Project is grounded in the belief that a cultural transformation will be the fruit of investing in this generation; one youth at a time. We have witnessed the tremendous ripple effect that can come from just one student’s commitment to being a ‘peacemaker,’ and we move confidently into the future with the HOPE of witnessing a wave of peacemakers victoriously shifting a culture of violent chaos to one where peace reigns.

Today on the program, we feature Part One of our conversation with Author Danny Sanchez.
From pain to purpose, purpose to peace. In 1999, Danny Sanchez was an inmate in San Quentin Prison. In 2012, he was commended for his work in youth violence prevention and named a Champion of Change by President Barak Obama. Experience his journey through the trauma that shaped his childhood, his spiral in self-destruction, then his radical transformation and quest to serve the community he loves. Danny grew up in the juvenile incarceration system and lived a violent life, including police brutality, suicide attempts, and surviving multiple stabbings. Today Danny is a city chaplain and the founder of The City Peace Project non-profit organization in San Jose, California where he inspires youth through his innovation as social entrepreneur.
