  • Peter Sondergeld Restore Groups

Peter Sondergeld, pastor of Restoration Church in Australia, joins us for another episode of 15:14 to discuss Restore Groups. Peter joined us for a previous episode to discuss his book Becoming You. Restore Groups are an opportunity to walk with Jesus through all of the details of your life: the good, the painful, the fragile, the hard, and the hurts. They are about mapping Jesus’ grace and presence, two things that are inseparable, onto the deep and delicate areas of your life. Learn how Restoration Church uses Restore Groups and how your church could adopt them in your ministry context as well.

  • I Have PTSD Q&A

In this episode of 15:14, Lakin interviews Curtis Solomon about his latest book, I Have PTSD in front of a live audience at the Bookstore at Southern. Anyone who experiences a traumatic event feels confused, lost, out of control, unsure, and unsteady—disoriented. This kind of suffering leaves marks, sometimes on the body, always on the soul, and sometimes both. In I Have PTSD, Solomon helps both those who have suffered trauma, as well as their loved ones,  to understand the physical, emotional, and spiritual effects of trauma, while offering gospel hope and practical ways to make that hope real in their lives.
