It’s been a week!! I know, it’s only Monday. But I’m talking about the past week. I was at the vet 3 times with these 2. Thankfully we’re all fine now.
But man - Life is hard.
Being a widow is hard.
And people everywhere are struggling.
So I’m offering some support groups through the holidays -
For anxiety
For loss
For You!
On today’s episode of The Be Ruthless Show, I discuss these groups as well as my birthday wish - Griefhab Goes Global.
Because people need to know support is available!!
So please share with your world - because people everywhere really are struggling right now!

Stress looks different for each and every one of us. And different things are stressful for different people.
No matter what causes you stress - the important thing is having healthy outlets. People. Activities. Self care.
It’s International Stress Awareness Day, and on todays episode of The Be Ruthless Show, I discuss why this day matters - and more!

Happy Halloween, Everyone.
Wanna hear something different? I’ve never loved Halloween. I know, I know -
I hear the reactions all of the time.
That’s what I talk about on today’s episode of The Be Ruthless Show: not loving something that the majority of the world loves. Or enjoying it in a different way.
There’s nothing wrong with me - or with you - for not liking certain traditions that the world celebrates. The issue is what we do about it -
And that applies to both those who are “in the minority” AND their friends and loved ones.

Dak is Back!! And The Cowboys beat The Lions - which is more than just any game for me. It’s the memories of this rivalry between me and Jim. The trips we don’t get to take. The future that isn’t.
So my emotions were all over the place - and I’m not sorry.
Because we’ve all been there! And hiding it makes it so much worse.
On todays episode of The Be Ruthless Show, I discuss feeling the feelings.

There are so many things that I go through that no one sees. I lived alone for years before Jim and I reconnected. But living alone without him now - it’s an entirely different kind of living alone.
And the more clients I work with, the more I realize that it’s not just me.
It’s universal.
So on today’s episode of The Be Ruthless Show, I share some things you’d never know without people like me telling you.
Widows. Divorced empty nesters. Trauma survivors. We’re everywhere, and we deal with a lot that isn’t discussed. Tune in for six examples now.

It’s National Domestic Violence Awareness Month - and I want to emphasize that emotional abuse is equally harmful.
It doesn’t have to leave a bruise to be wrong. Unhealthy.
Not everyone knows what that looks like. Not everyone knows what signs to look for. On todays episode of The Be Ruthless Show, I discuss five things we can look for in relationships.

It’s National #StopBullyingDay and it’s also Bullying Prevention Month - and I’ve got so much to say about this topic.
Because there are many different types of bullying. And speaking up isn’t something everyone is taught.
So on today’s episode of The Be Ruthless Show, I discuss what to look for, questions to ask, and ways to get out of uncomfortable or unhealthy situations.

It’s World Mental Health Day - and while I absolutely want to celebrate this, I also want people to understand what it means. It’s not on any calendars. There aren’t any traditions associated with today like turkey and Thanksgiving.
So let’s decide what it means. Let’s make it what we want it to mean!
On today’s episode of The Be Ruthless Show, I discuss a few different ways you can check in with yourself and your loved ones. I also wrote last weeks blog on a similar topic, and you can read that here.
