How should I act when my friend gets out of rehab?
Or when they’ve suffered a loss?
An injury?
These are things we don’t discuss - but should!
On today’s episode of The Be Ruthless Show, I share my 3 most important tips on how to show up for someone after they’ve been through something intense.

Addiction is a topic that is under discussed with plenty of stigmas. Gambling addiction is even less discussed.
On today’s episode of The Be Ruthless Show, Patrick Chester and I dive deep into this much needed discussion.
Patrick Chester is a 50 year old father of two boys and husband. He spent 15 years living in the darkness that is gambling addiction.
Patrick spent many years building a solid reputation, and was widely respected as a business owner and professional. He threw it all away as his sports gambling addiction took over his life. Everything took a back seat to his gambling addiction, including his own family. He ended up over a million dollars in debt, suicidal, and ultimately sent off to jail for the crimes he committed to feed his addiction.
Patrick left jail in June of 2015 and has devoted his life ever since, to those that suffer in their addiction. Gambling addiction lives in the shadows and it's hard to recognize, Patrick’s hope is to raise awareness and educate people about the dangers and warning signs of this addiction.

How Bout Them Cowboys!!!
And, of course, LETS GO BLUE!
Big Football Weekend, and also a big emotional weekend for me. On top of being sick last week, my back has been acting up…. which immediately triggers my anxiety.
The what if’s. The could it be’s. The not knowing is, by far, the worst.
So yesterday I wound up at urgent care -
I have a follow up with a specialist on Friday, and my mind - and body - are already completely at ease.
On today’s episode of The Be Ruthless Show, I discuss all the reasons we can come up with to NOT do what needs to be done. And all the reasons we need to ignore ourselves and just deal with it.🤣

Disability. I don’t even like the word let alone what it stands for. And most people think of something physical when they hear the word disability, but there are emotional disabilities as well.
They’re just invisible.
My guest on today’s episode of The Be Ruthless Show addresses physical AND emotional disabilities as well as the stigmas that come with them.
Shanice Green is a Transformational and empowerment mindset coach and disability advocate. She openly shares her story of multiple surgeries and life in a wheelchair to help others and to raise awareness.

Join us on Tuesday, November 22 for a virtual event with an exciting announcement about Griefhab!!
I talk all the time about clients interviewing us to find the best fit. But we need to interview them, as well!!
I fired a client last week -
Not because I didn’t like her.
Not because I didn’t want to work with her.
Because I need to protect myself.
On today’s episode of The Be Ruthless Show, I discuss the clients who aren’t safe. I discuss the importance of documentation - for both our clients protection and our own.
