Diren Kartal, what can I say, a man of many of words and lots of laughs and like myself really believes in the power of conversations! Diren is a personal trainer, who over the years has grown a massive online audience through hilarious training/gym videos but also through “Calling out” bullshit within the industry through quick wit and blunt content!Diren is not shy when stating his opinions on the fitness industry, male & female roles within relationships and what he wants in life! This episode is full of good craic, with a side on controversy. We also discuss how Diren flew with his Dad to Turkey after the massive earthquake earlier this year, and raised over 100,000 in 2 days and what he saw and experienced on the ground. THIS IS A SPECIAL ONE! One that I have thought about for a very long time.
Meet my baby sister Darcy who joins me in telling our Mam, Jackie's story, and what a Mam she was. Our Mam was diagnosed with a rare form of non primary, stage 4 cancer in 2018. Anyone who has fought or fought cancer alongside someone will know it is not linear and resources in Ireland in compared to some parts of the world we are lagging and so, we explain about fundraising for my Mams treatment in Germany. This episode brings you from the starting point of our shared journey to the passing of our amazing Mam, explaining the emotional and physical pains she experienced.
Grief is not something I ever thought about until I had to and I feel by sharing my experience I can connect with others who too maybe struggling. I would do anything to have my Mam here but I know she is so proud of how we are all surviving and I know someday we will begin to thrive again! But my god, I miss her so much!
And, My baby sister has been my rock and I am so proud of her strength and I know you will agree with me by the end of this episode.
Thank you all, for the amazing support and feedback over the last two episodes, this season feels like a very special one!

Safiyya Vorajee speaks to me about her unthinkable journey of losing her beautiful baby girl Azaylia, at 8 months to an aggressive form of leukemia in 2021. Safs explains how she has survived the unimaginable pain of loss and how herself and Ashley Cain (Azaylia's father) have turned their pain into passion by creating the foundation The Azaylia Foundation supporting families that are also faced with disease. Saf tells us of the care they received and sourcing it overseas, what life is like after such a loss, how she copes with grief. This is a story of bravery, pain, community, humanity and brought me nothing but perspective. I am in awe of Saf and wish her and her family nothing but peace in the future. This week's guest is.... ME!
I have been debating doing a solo episode sometime now, but my worry was always it sounding narcissistic, a bit of a wanker to be honest but in saying that some people join this community at other different stages and may not know who I am or where I started this podcast so I thought now is a good time to give an honest insight into my life so you know who you are listening to.
With that said I couldn't think of anything worse just talking aimlessly into a mic, so I thought why not Dan Campion have, the person who makes this all possible for me, my mentor, my now good friend and owner of the podcast studio Prymal Productions and the Prymal Podcast interview me! We didn't script or practice anything at all and just let Dan host the conversation!
We chat about my career, grief, time working with MAC, podcasting and just soooo much more!
I hope you guys like it and as said in the episode here in the cancer treatment center we sent my Mam too. Home - Veritalife

Scaling business, working weddings, being a baby whisperer, fighting a brain tumor TWICE, the loss of a parent, and work ethic are just some of the things I discuss with celebrity, bridal and newborn baby photographer.
I am so pleasantly surprised by how emotional this episode made both of us speaking about how and where our work ethic comes from, how grief has affected our lives and how hard we both enjoy working. Jenny allows herself to be so vulnerable and speaks to me about she survived not one but TWO brain tumors, how she had to SHOP for a brain surgeon and how that changed her outlook and life forever! She is a force to be inspired by!
Jenny shares her how she loves to work with newborn babies, has seen all sides to the celebrities she has worked with and gives all the advice on for the perfect morning with a bride.

Jo comes at this from angle as someone who loves to shop but has made simple changes along her journey that I believe more of us need to make!
