Nona Dirksmeyer was a college student and beauty pageant participant living in Arkansas. When her boyfriend Kevin Jones couldn't get a hold of her, he went to her house where he found her murdered in her living room. Kevin was taken in for questioning and soon realized, he was a suspect. The police and the public got tunnel vision.
