It was supposed to be an exciting weekend - Wrestling Star Chris Benoit was due to appear at WWE's Vengeance: Night of Champions in Houston.

But he never made it. In fact, he quietly sent texts from his family home explaining his wife and son were sick. But something about his demeanour felt .. odd. 

Inside that house, horrors too horrific to comprehend were taking place.. 

Nancy was a mother, described by loved ones as fiercely protective of her son and determined to build a stable life away from the chaos of the wrestling world. 

Her son, Daniel, was just seven years old— his life should’ve been school days, playing out with friends, and the safety of being completely loved and looked after.
