I talked about my positive-negative spectrum scale not long ago. If you haven't listened to that talk yet, make sure you do because that will help you get clarity about a lot of things when it comes to the way we think and perceive things, as well as about positivity and negativity and the in-between. After all, I developed that model to simplify our understanding of how positivity and negativity works. So check it out of you haven't already. 

Now, if you look at that model, you'll see that negativity becomes blind pessimism at its extreme. That's not just a bad state of mind to be in, it can even be downright dangerous for you. Why that is the case as well as tips on how you can counter that sort of negative state of mind and even a somewhat embarrassing yet funny story about an experience I had in the past related to this and more is what's in store for you in this talk.
