March 08, 2022200 Million Reasons for Aaron Rodgers to be HappyIn this live stream, The Big D breaks down the historic four-year, $200 million deal that Green Bay Packers legend Aaron Rodgers has agreed. I breakdown what this historic deal means for Rodgers and the Pack. I also explain why this deal means bad news for Jordan Love's chances of ever playing meaningful games for the Packers....more7minPlay
March 04, 2022Winning Bets, Bryson DeChambeau, and The Players Championship Preview with Tom JacobsIn this episode, British golf betting expert Tom Jacobs and I look back at his winning bets, Bryson DeChambeau, and preview the 2022 Players Championship. First, we look at tom's hot bets. Over the 2022 golf season, Tom has been steaming with his golf bets. Thomas Pieters was Tom's first win with hhis win in Abu Daubi. After Will Zalatoris finished second at Torrey Pines. Tom correctly picked Tom Hoge and Scottie Scheffler. His winning ways contined with Joaquín Niemann at the Genesis. Even this week, Tom correctly picked Rory Mcllroy to be first-round leader at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. The conversation then switches to golf's most polarizing star - Bryson DeChambeau. DeChambeau is not playing this week's Arnold Palmer Invitational due to a nagging wrist injury. He has also been in the news for potentially playing his golf in Saudi Arabia. We look into whether these distractions and injury will hinder Bryson into 2021's biggest events. We then preview next week's Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass. We look at what makes a contender at a Pete Dye course. I believe you need a good ball-striker and avoid the water at TPC Sawgrass. Tom is very interested in seeing what Dustin Johnson does next week. After not starting with much success, DJ's 20-1 odds could be tempting. I really like Victor Howland and Xander Schauffele with similar odds to DJ. After those big names, we look at guys with longer odds. Tom likes Paul Casey and Billy Horschel with 50-1 odds. I believe Will Zalatoris can finally breakthrough for his first PGA win with 40-1 odds. I also like Niemann to continue his trong play from Riviera. Tom then talks why you should back Collin Morikawa at Sawgrass. While those big names tempt us, Tom is thinking about fading Patrick Cantlay! Tom then ends this episode by stumping The Big D with a Players Championship surprise from 2002! ...more35minPlay
March 04, 2022Next Gen Car/Kyle Larson's Dominance and Vegas Preview with @DMICMediaIn this episode, DMICMedia and I look at NASCAR's Next Gen car, Kyle Larson's dominance, and this weekend's Pennzoil 400. First, we talk about NASCAR's Next Gen car. We talk about the chnages on the Next Gen Car. With 18'' inch wheels, wide tires, a single lug nut, and a transaxle, NASCAR's new car offers several new differences. The conversation then changes from the Next Gen car to NASCAR's best driver - reigning Cup Series champion Kyle Larson. We look at Larson's talent and his team's ability to adapt on any situation during a race. After winning 10 races and the title, Larson won Sunday's Wise Power 400. We look back at how Larson and his team handled a challenging race for NASCAR's newest car. With the NASCAR Cup Series visiting Las Vegas Motor Sppedway this Sunday, we look at Kyle Larson's prospects of dending his Vegas win from 2021. I explain Larson's dominance on similar tracks since the 2021 season. We look at guys who could unseat Larson this weekend. Dennis likes Tyler Reddick as a threat to Larson. With good runs at The Clash and last week's race despite poor luck, Reddick could finally get his first win. I believe Denny Hamlin and Joe Gibbs Racing are due for a good race with Denny winning the last Vegas race in 2021. I also agree with Dennis that an RCR driver could be a good upset pick. While Dennis likes Reddick, I am doing with Austin Dillon. Dillon finished second behind Larson last week. We also look at reigning Daytona 500 champ Austin's Cindric chances of winning this weekend. We also look at drivers needing a good race. Dennis looks at the hometown favorite Kyle Busch. I am going with William Byron. With two wrecks at Daytona and Auto Club Speedway, Byron needs an uneventual race in Vegas....more31minPlay
March 01, 2022No MLB CBA/Mardi Gras/New Orleans TriviaIn tonight's live stream, I breakdown the awful news of Major League Baseball's failure to agree on a new collective bargaining agreement. With no CBA, the first two series will not be played. I explain what MLB and the MLBPA were asking in their sides of the deal. I explain why the CBT proved too be one if not the biggest sticking points in not ratifying the CBA. I add how other issues like the Minimum salary and pre-arbitration bonus pool for 0-3-year players made a deal less likely. I also explain how not just the owners or players lose. Every staff worker at MLB or Spring Training games will not be paid. I also am fearful that most if not all the season is lost like the entire 2004-05 NHL season. After the MLB bad news, I feel like we need a laugh. Luckily, today is Fat Tuesday. With Mardi Gras happening in New Orleans, this week's trivia question is about a New Orleans Saints player. Who intercepted Brett Favre and Peyton Manning on route to the Saints winning Super Bowl XLIV?...more23minPlay
February 28, 2022FGCU Dunks and Threes with J Webb HortonIn this episode, FGCU college basketball analyst J Webb Horton and I talk FGCU men's and women's basketball before the ASUN Basketball Tournament, which starts an exciting March of tournament basketball. First, we talk Dunk City, where the FGCU men's basketball team will start its quest to make another March Madness appearance. After two big wins against Liberty and Jacksonville, the Eagles are flying into March. FGCU is the No. 3 seed on the East side of the bracket and will face the No. 6 seed North Alabama from the West. Tavian Dunn-Martin's scoring will be crucial for the Eagles to win. After setting FGCU's program-high with 43 points against Liberty, he responded with 18 more in a win over JU. J Webb talks about FGCU's key players including Kevin Samuel. We then talk about how tricky tomorrow's game against North Alabama will be. Despite FGCU winning the only meeting, J Webb is aware of UNA's chance of winning at FGCU. We also look at which teams can win the ASUN men's tournament. We also talk about what teams need to win a conference tournament. Onto threes, we then talk FGCU's women's basketball. For the women, Kierstan Bell will be influential in FGCU making a return trip to the NCAA tournament. In first two games back from a knee injury, Bell scored 23 points against Liberty and JU to give FGCU the No. 1 seed in the East region - meaning the Eagles have got the easiest path to winning the ASUN tournament. ...more31minPlay
February 22, 2022Big D's Trivia: MLB LockoutIn this week's edition of Big D's trivia, I am selecting the current Major League Baseball lockout as my subject. Despite most of my videos being about football, golf, soccer, I am a baseball fan at heart. I show my passion for baseball. I then explain the current MLB lockout, which began on Dec 2, 2021. I explain how the recent meetings this week have led to little if any major process to complete a new CBA. I then explain how February 28 is a critical date to save Opening Day on March 31. For tonight's Trivia Question, I answer did baseball have Spring Training in 1990 and '95. Both seasons were delayed by work stoppages and strikes....more13minPlay
February 19, 2022Cooper Kupp, Potential Super Bowl Surprises, QB needy teams, and Favorite Breakout PlayerIn this episode, Alex Bleuel and I talk Cooper Kupp's incredible 2021 campaign, potential Super Bowl surprises, some playoff-caliber teams needing a quarterback, and breakout stars. First, we talk about the historic 2021 NFL season from LA Rams star Cooper Kupp. After winning the NFL receiving Triple Crown, Kupp shined brightly for the Rams on route to Super Bowl LVI over the Cincinnati Bengals. While the star do not always shine in the playoffs, Kupp's six touchdowns proved vital in LA's winning success. I was impressed with how Kupp played with the Rams not having Robert Woods, Tyler Higbee, and Odell Beckham Jr. It also seemed like Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford and Kupp developed a quick relationship throughout this amazing campaign. I then quiz Alex on where Kupp ranks with his six postseason TDs in one playoff run. Then, we look at couple teams capable of making a Super Bowl run. I start with the Tennessee Titans. With Tennessee ending the 2021 regular season as the AFC's No. 1 seed, the Titans could look to make a deep playoff run. Alex responds with the Los Angeles Chargers. With young stud Justin Herbert leading the Chargers, the Bolts could make a deep playoff run. Then, we look at teams that may follow the Rams in making a blockbuster move for a franchise quarterback. Alex likes the Pittsburgh Steelers with young studs on offense and reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year in T.J. Watt. I believe the Washington Commanders are a QB from challenging in the NFC. We then look at Titans receiver A.J. Brown and Detroit Lions young star Amon-Ra St. Brown as two of 2022's most exciting fantasy prospects....more30minPlay
February 16, 2022Big D's Trivia: Who's won an Olympic Gold Medal and a Super Bowl ring?Tonight, The Big D is debuting a new weekly segment where Dylan gives a weekly trivia question about a famous person or event. With the Winter Olympics happening, and the Super Bowl taking place on Sunday in Los Angeles, I wanted to try and find a question relating someone to both events. luckily, this led me to a wonderful question. Dallas Cowboys receiver Bob Hayes won two gold medals in the 1964 Tokyo Olympics and Super Bowl VI with the Dallas Cowboys....more6minPlay
February 14, 2022Big D Recaps Rams winning Super Bowl LVI over Bengals! In this live stream, I talk about the Los Angeles Rams defeating the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI. In this game Cooper Kupp won the game's MVP with and two touchdowns; One of them put the Rams in front for good. I then talk about how each quarterback fared on football's biggest stage. Both Matthew Stafford and Joe made some big plays, but each one felt plenty of heat. I explain how the Rams won this game despite not having several key offensive stars, which made the final drive even more impressive. I explain how Rams defensive star Aaron Donald wrecked the Bengals offensive plans late in this game. Donald's pass rush eliminated any Cincy big plays, and the Bengals did not have a chance in blocking Burrow. I also explain how the flags played a role in this game. Some penalties and non-calls changed this game. I then talk about LA's crucial 15-play drive to win the game. I explain how despite constant double teams, Stafford found Kupp for big plays - including the game-winning touchdown. In a game, fit for stars, LA's stars came to shine in the fourth quarter. I then talk why the Bengals should have more chances at seeing Burrow play on football's biggest stage. I then briefly talk about a couple of teams breaking through for next year's Super Bowl....more20minPlay
February 09, 2022Super Bowl Preview with Alex BleuelIn this episode, Alex Bleuel and I breakdown Sunday's Super Bowl LVI between the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals. First, we give out our keys to this Sunday's Super Bowl. Alex does the defensive keys, and I explain the offensive keys. Alex starts by explaining how the Rams need to pressure Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and limit Joe Mixon's ability. Defensive stars Aaron Donald and Von Miller's pressure can limit superstar rookie Ja'Marr Chase's effectiveness on this game. For LA's offense, Matthew Stafford's play will determine this game. Unlike the regular season where Stafford threw 17 interceptions, he has thrown just one INT in three playoff games. I would not at all be surprised if Rams coach Sean McVay followed the WildCard script with more running and giving Stafford fewer, easier throws. With Cincinnati, he believes the Bengals need to make Stafford uncomfortable and force mistakes. By shutting down LA's run game, the Bengals can force Stafford in more mistakes. I believe the Bengals need to protect Joe Burrow. After allowing 51 Burrow sacks in the regular season and nine in a playoff win against the Tennessee Titans, the Bengals' offensive line needs its best day against Donald and Miller. With SoFi Stadium getting ready to host LA's first Super Bowl in 29 years, we talk about our favorite Super Bowl venues. I pick Glendale's State Farm Stadium as my ideal Super Bowl host. Alex picks Miami's Hard Rock Stadium as the NFL's best Super Bowl/party venue. We then test out each other's Super Bowl knowledge with some Super Bowl trivia. With the NFL Pro Football Hall of fame announcing the 2022 class tomorrow night, we each talk about one guy from our favorite team. Dylan wants long-time Jacksonville Jaguars tackle Tony Boseli. Alex wants long-time Miami Dolphins linebacker Zach Thomas. Finally, we share our Super Bowl picks. While there is plenty of agreement, we differ on which teams wins Super Bowl LVI. Alex likes Burrow and the Bengals to continue this unbelievable road towards the Lombardi Trophy. I like the Rams to win their first NFL title in LA since 1951. I believe the Rams are better and can control both lines of scrimmage - meaning Stafford should have a cleaner pocket than Burrow. ...more33minPlay
