It's a win-win scenario with thousands of wild Brown and Rainbow Trout taken from a protected water supply catchment, where angling isn't allowed, to an accessible fishery down the road at Portland.

The native fish are thriving too, with Macqaurie Perch, River Black Fish and native Galaxias coming back in droves.
