Thursday's Second Hour: Bob Quinn continues from today's Partners in Profit 365 event is the guys from Van Wall Equipment! Van Wall Integrated Solutions Manager Scott Meldrum discusses some of the field trials they are conducting to learn about the potential of their producers' land. Don Van Houweling joins Bob as well to talk about how precision agriculture continues to change, especially sub-surface, and the continuous fight against pests. We wrap up with Jamey Kohake at Paragon Investments checking in on commodity trade in the last full day ahead of the USDA quarterly report, followed by a closed trade day Monday for MLK Jr. Day.

Teacher Kerri Bell who is also with the Iowa Corn Growers, joins us to talk about the Iowa Agriculture Literacy Foundation and how Corn Checkoff dollars are helping out.

We hear from a South American agronomist at the University of Sao Paulo, Mauro Osaki, on the condition of the South American crop. David is joined by Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird to discuss the upholding of two Iowa laws preventing trespassing on Iowa farmland and falsifying job applications for the purpose of secretly surveilling farms. Midwest Market Solutions' Brian Hoops wraps the show with an update on markets.

Tuesday's First Hour: The Peoples Company Land Investment Expo is underway and we're fighting our way through the snow to cover it! Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig was a speaker this morning and tells us about his morning, as well as the 8th Circuit Court decision in a case involving trespassing on livestock producer land. We also talk with Brick Gentry, P.C. lawyer Eldon McAfee about the court's decision, its impact, and any potential for appeals. Back to the Land Expo, California State Representative James Gallagher tell us what he spoke about at the Expo this morning including Prop 12. USDA Under Secretary for Farm Production and Conservation Robert Bonnie was unable to make it through the snow to the Expo, but spoke to the group over video call this morning and David Geiger has a report today on his comments on the increase in farmland prices.

Monday's Second Hour: We continue today from the Land Improvement Contractors of America Iowa Chapter annual meeting! LICA Member Tim Recker talks about the growth of the LICA farm in Melbourne, IA. Jacob Handsaker, owner of Hands On Excavating LLC, tells us about how they do some of the projects at LICA. Jamey Kohake from Paragon Investments ends the show with a market update as grains are falling to start the week.

Monday's First Hour: Bob Quinn is at the annual winter meeting of the Iowa chapter of the Land Improvement Contractors of America!
