Nick Coburn from Controlled Ponds of Iowa is at the conference today as well and talks with Bob about eliminating pond weeds and their involvement with CSIF Green Farmstead Partner program. Paragons Investments' Jamey Kohake is today's market analyst with a look at first notice day for the marketplace.

Wednesday's Second Favorite: Nick Boeyink from the Americans for Clean Aviation Fuel discusses the future of biofuel use in aircrafts. Iowa Secretary of Agriculture gives us an update on this fall's uptick in highly pathogenic avian influenza in Iowa and tells us about the typical drop off period in winter. Dan Hueber ends the show with another look at markets on a quiet day for corn and soybeans.

Wednesday's First Hour: Iowa Senator Joni Ernst is with us at the beginning of the show to tell us about recent Senate Ag Committee nominations for Dr. Basil Gooden and the Honorable Summer Mersinger for Commissioner of the Commodity Futures Trading Commision. She also gives an update on Farm Bill talks in Washington, D.C. NCBA Vice President of Government Affairs Ethan Lane discusses the recent Canadian dairy market access ruling. Today's market analyst Dan Hueber, President of The Hueber Report, breaks down today's market trade and how the upcoming first notice day is slowing down trade. Bob is joined by Lacie Thomas from Koch Agronomic Services talking about Centuro products for fall fieldwork.

Tuesday's Second Hour: We begin hour two with National Milk Producers Federation Executive Vice President for Policy & Strategy Jaime Castaneda to discuss a recent USMCA panel decision against a U.S. complaint over a Canadian TRQ limiting dairy market access. State Climatologist Justin Glissan is with us today recaps the weather of 2023 and talks about where the ongoing drought ranks historically. Don Roose from US Commodities ends today's Big Show with an update on markets as we near the close with soybeans remaining strong and a turnaround Tuesday for livestock.

Tuesday's First Hour: American Soybean Association Chairman Brad Doyle spoke with David at the NAFB Annual Meeting in Kansas City, and we listen in on his comments on the status of the soybean industry heading into 2024 including the needs of farmers legislatively. Don Roose from US Commodities, Inc. joins us from Nicaragua today to look at markets and discuss the impact of South American weather on our markets. We talk more about the ins and out of the ag commodity markets at the end of the hour with CME Group's Makenzie Billings.

Monday's Second Hour: We continue our catch up on conversations from the NAFB Annual Convention with Bob Quinn as he talks with Pioneer's Adam Theis, Agoro Carbon Alliance's Clay Creighton, and Jed Norman with LG Seeds. David talks today with Iowa Renewable Fuels Association Executive Director Monte Shaw after a recent appeals court decision affecting the renewable fuels industry. Jamey Kohake from Paragon Investments ends today's show with an update on markets and some targets for the rest of 2023.
