Thursday's First Hour: DeKalb/Asgrow Technical Agronomist Nicole Stecklein talks drought with us in her area in Northeast Iowa and has information on what to watch to ensure soil health. Don Roose from US Commodities, Inc tells us how markets are reacting as harvest nears a close in the US and gives some insight into conditions in South America including issues with low river levels there. Wednesday's Second Hour: Central Iowa State University Extension Agronomist Meaghan Anderson tells us how harvest progress is looking from her perspective, how our soil moisture levels compare to historical levels, and their research into Asian copperleaf. Stu Swanson from the Iowa Corn Growers Association chats about how harvest is going on his farm as they wrap up the last field today and the rapid dry down that we saw in Iowa this month. Angie Setzer from Consus Ag Consulting fills us in on what is bringing soybeans higher here in the past hour.

Iowa State University's Dr. Charlie Hurburgh talks about grain quality and storage with us to start the hour. Former Ohio Congressman Tim Ryan joins us on behalf of Natural Allies talking about the future of energy and natural gas in the United States.
