Today's Georgia's primary runoff date, with a smattering of races dotting metro Atlanta and the state; but one Congressional runoff caught my attention - the one to determine who'll take on Marjorie Taylor Greene in GA-14. Having already spoken with Shawn Harris months ago, I caught up just recently with his runoff opponent, Clarence Blalock.
Blalock, to the surprise of many, finished 128 votes ahead of the vastly more well-funded Harris in the May 21st primary, but didn't cross the needed 50% threshold to win the nomination outright. Since that surprise result, however, the two campaigns have sharpened attacks toward each other.
