Be warned this episode is not for the faint hearted as Lee, Darren, Laura and Rob begin the epic odyssey that is The Twilight films. So join them and their friend Jose Cuevo Tequiler as the guys review Bella Swans first vampire mope. But its not all doom and gloom with the usual features such as the news and shitty superheroes also making an appearance. Next week the Twi-fest continues with the second vamp/wolf/emo thing New Moon.

This week is a traumatic episode filled with tales of convention woes, gaffs in front of famous people and shaving of private parts of ones anatomy. All of which is accompanied by news of Batmans new nemesis for The Dark Knight Rises, casting suggestions for The Gunslinger in Ron Howards adaptation of The Dark Tower and much more. Then with the addition of a new shitty superhero and the rose tinted specs re-evaluation of Galaxy Quest this adds up to a fine geek evening of entertainment.

This week sees Lee & Darren reviewing the 1997 blockbuster SF satire Starship Troopers. In the rest of the cast we have a new news jingle, some actual newly breaking news about Xmen First Class, some discussion about the abandoned Alien Prequel and some random blitherings about Captain America and hopes for the Avengers. In addition we have yet another shitty superhero and Lee recounts a horrific vision witnessed on a commuter train.

The boys are on a mission from god as they review the classic John Landis film The Blues Brothers Add to that some weakly delivered news, an announcement which could spell the end of what little sanity the guys have left and the return of a segment long thought lost to the mists of time and you’ve got yourself a cast.

In this special (and epic lengthed) cast, Lee and Darren cast their eyes over the past 12 months in movies and try desperately to recall their own top 10 films of 2010. The guys also recall their christmas shenanigans from the Black Dog shindig to presents with a hidden message about grooming. Combine that with a superb opening track produced by Brad Thornton and sung by the Black Dog massive* and you have a cast that will take you on a whimsical journey through the year, using as many swear words as possible.

In this, the last Black Dog of 2010, Lee and Darren hit the cough syrup hard and get wizzing off their tits as they discuss that most festive of xmas movies, John McTiernans Die Hard. Also, Darren recalls his week with some martians, Lee tells a festive tale about his fathers need to prove Santa exists using a half chewed snickers bar.

This week sees the return of the 10 min spoiler zone for the clagfest Skyline and the guys review The Naked Gun and discuss the comedic genius of Leslie Nielsen. Elswhere they bring you the non news of the Alien prequel, the shocking appearance of a Rentaghost movie on the production schedules, while mocking the Spiderman musical “Turn Off The Dark”

In this episode, Lee and Darren chat over skype due to the Hoth like winter conditions, discussing such subjects as being off ones tits on cough medicine, the relentless punishing difficulty of the XBox game Vanquish and the sad departure of two of geekdoms greatest icons; Irving Kershner and Leslie Nielsen. And to bring the mood down further they finally tackle the Shit Covered Goggles film to rule them all: Plan 9 From Outer Space. Is it really that bad? Wait and see.

In this weeks epic length episode; The guys weave tales of terror featuring fire in petrol tanks & wizard dilusions. Then in the news the bullshit or not rumour of the day about a forthcoming Batman TV series is also picked while giving a fan film trailer a kickin’ And finally Lee cracks under the Scott Pilgrim brow beating and watches it again, at which point his day gets worse as he and Darren tackle Alien Resurrection and a deluge of feedback.

This week Lee & Darren apologise profusely for Script Sandwich, talk about mad casting rumours in the news, fight off the spectre of disapproval from Scott Pilgrim feedback before finally turning their attention to Rob Reiners The Princess Bride
