It’s deja vu. Remember how Republicans promised to repeal Obamacare and then actually preserved it? Well, unless we mobilize against the Green New Deal now, Republicans will not repeal the heart of the green energy subsidies. I warn that the oil and gas industry is already lobbying to preserve the grift and only repeal the tax increases and some regulations. We go through the irrevocable harm that will flow from such a move, the proper strategy and messaging behind full repeal, and the need to pass a repeal bill through budget reconciliation as the first major agenda item. I also explain how we are suffering a stagflation and personal debt crisis, and nobody in the GOP seems to have a forward-looking plan on how to deal with it.
