  • I didn't mean to start a fight with him

I didn’t believe him when he said he didn’t like her.

That couldn’t possibly be true because I knew I wasn’t enough for him.

I was never enough for anybody.

I knew it was only a matter of time before he chose someone over me, and I was just trying to get ahead of it.

She was skinnier than me. Taller than me. Prettier than me. And he spent hours with her at work. And she’s not even the only one. I was surrounded by competition, and I could feel it!

So I questioned him until we were screaming at each other because nothing he said made me feel better.

No matter how much he screamed at me, “I only want you!” I couldn’t accept it. I needed proof, and he couldn’t give it to me. I needed him to make me feel better because it was his fault I felt this bad…

    Right?

The fight wasn’t really about her

Because I had already made up my mind about me, so therefore, he must have too. I had already decided: I’m not good enough to be loved. I always get thrown away like garbage.

That’s the meaning I gave every rejection I had ever experienced.

I’m the problem. I’m the ugly little unloveable thing.

And that’s why, regardless of whether he liked her or not, he didn’t stand a chance.

Really, the only one who could soothe me in that moment was the one who was doing the rejecting. And that person was me.

  • If You Pretend You're Fine When You're Actually Hurt... Tap With Me

If someone hurts your feelings and your first response is, “It’s okay, I get it,” this EFT tapping session is for you.

Maybe you immediately explain away their behavior, laugh it off, pretend you’re fine, or focus on why they acted that way before you even acknowledge your own hurt. In this guided EFT tapping practice, we’ll gently interrupt that pattern so you can honor your own emotional experience without becoming reactive or losing your compassion.

It’s time to stop leaving yourself behind and start staying with yourself first.

  • I Had My Own Opinion. He Treated It Like a Betrayal.

We were driving back from the beach, and he said, “She’s just a drug addict. I don’t want my kids listening to her,” about Demi Lovato.

Everything in me said to keep my mouth shut, but I didn’t listen. All the alarm bells were going off…

Instead, I spoke my truth, which meant disagreeing with him. (this was new for me at the time)

I said, “You can’t reduce people to their struggles. She’s struggled with her addiction publicly. That’s hard enough. And she’s also demonstrating the power of not giving up on yourself. I think she deserves to be respected, not judged.” (or something like that)

And boy oh BOY did he not like that.

What came next was a string of insults. I was called a bad mom, a lowlife, the works.

At one point, this kind of interaction would’ve broken me down.

I would’ve crawled back into the pit within myself so no one would have a reason to attack me, and I’d start attacking myself.

Why didn’t you just keep your mouth shut?? Now your kids have to watch this man berate you like you're nothing.

Maybe I am nothing. Who am I to have an opinion?

    I should’ve known better.

    Sounds familiar, doesn’t it?

I felt stupid for speaking my truth, for taking up space. I felt stupid for having a different opinion than him. And that feeling wasn’t unfamiliar. I had felt it many times in my life.

Because I believed: if I’m real, if I speak my truth, then I’ll cause problems. Someone won’t like it, and something bad will happen. Therefore, being me is dangerous.

But really, I was misunderstanding what was happening, and you might be too.

How many choices, ideas, perspectives do you just nod along to because you’re afraid to rock the boat? Probably enough that you’ve lost touch with your own truth, your own voice.

Making trusting yourself feel like the wrong thing to do.

How many relationships have you devoted yourself to where you couldn’t even be your true self? And then you’re lying in bed at night, hoping no one “figures you out” and decides to abandon you…the same way you’ve abandoned yourself.

How much pain has that caused you? Be real with yourself about it.

But let’s zoom out and look at this honestly.

You’ve only been parading around in this mask, this shadow of yourself, because you became convinced that who you are is a problem.

Someone’s extreme response to your true self confused the hell out of you because you don’t just feel your own emotions. You feel theirs too.

Of course it was easy to come to that conclusion — that you’re the problem.

But here’s the reframe I need you to take from this:

Your realness is not the problem. It exposes who and what’s not for you.

    Read that again.

When someone rejects or criticizes something about you, that’s not a sign to put that part of you in a box on a shelf in a dark closet.

It’s important information that’s meant to guide you.

It’s saying: hey, maybe this situation or this person isn’t right for you. Maybe this relationship isn’t going to fulfill you the way you think it will. There’s a different path available to you. Keep going.

Being authentic, being you, is built in self-protection. It’s a filter for your life.

Sure, rejection is uncomfortable. Conflict is uncomfortable.

But when you learn how to stay deeply connected to yourself when emotions are high, that discomfort stops feeling dangerous.

Having a healthy, honest relationship with yourself is what leads you to safe relationships.

It’s what gives you your strength when things are tough.

It’s the only place in this world where you can truly be unconditionally loved.

Once you have that connection with yourself, you stop craving people or situations that once required you to be smaller.

Your relationship to yourself is the most important relationship in your life. And it’s time to prioritize it.

Your future is counting on it.

If you’re done sacrificing your peace, your ability to sleep at night just to be accepted by others, then schedule a chat with me. Let’s talk about what’s going on, where you’d rather be, and how you can get there.

Either way, wear your authenticity like a shield. Let it scare the wrong ones away. Because that’s when the right ones can find you.

If you consider yourself a sensitive, self-aware soul who’s breaking a cycle of self-abandonment, and this conversation resonated with you, consider subscribing.

  • Can’t Stop Analyzing Their Text? Tap With Me.

Have you ever reread a text twelve times, studied the punctuation, and convinced yourself they must be upset with you?

This quick EFT tapping practice is for the moment their message feels “off” and suddenly you can’t focus on anything else.

When your whole body is convinced something is wrong, telling yourself to stop overthinking usually doesn’t work. Tapping helps ease the urgency behind those thoughts so you can think more clearly and come back to yourself.

In two short rounds, we’ll tap through the pressure to figure out what changed, the fear that you did something wrong, and the need to know you’re still okay.

Use this practice whenever you can’t stop analyzing a text, waiting for a reply, or wondering whether someone is pulling away.

You may not know what they’re thinking, but you don’t have to lose yourself trying to figure it out.

Tapping points graphic is on the full post.

If you’re ready to stop letting someone else’s tone, mood, or behavior decide whether you get to feel okay, book a Clarity Call.

We’ll identify what keeps pulling you away from yourself, get clear on what you want instead, and determine whether the 30-Day Inner Reclaim is the right next step. I’ll clearly walk you through exactly what working together looks like.

  • Why do I obsess about them being mad at me?

Because you feel like you have to fix it…or else…

Everything in your body tightens at the idea of them being upset with you. Your mind goes into tunnel vision, desperately searching for all the right things you could say or do to make them feel better.

While you spiral into a pit of anxiety.

You can’t focus on anything other than them.

And it’s draining you. You can feel it. It’s taking energy and time away from what truly matters to you.

And you’re only asking, “Why am I like this?” because you know this obsession only makes things worse. You know it’s stealing your peace. And it feels like they couldn't care less about how upset you are over the matter.

Then you’re asking, “Why the hell am I always the one who cares?! Why am I the only one who can’t make a mistake?”

It’s a whole loop of fear and resentment that leaves you feeling like shit.

But let’s zoom out and get honest so you can feel okay again.

Ask yourself, “Why is how they’re feeling so important right now?”

But don’t answer with the story that comes to mind. Drop into your body and speak from there.

What’s the feeling underneath that thought that just popped into your head?

    It’s fear.

    Anxiety.

A feeling of being completely out of control.

That last one makes a little sense, though. You know that you can’t actually control how someone else feels. Yet, you’re trying to.

It’s not because something is wrong with you, though. It’s not because your peace must be earned from them.

It’s because you’re trying to make your fear go away by making them feel better.

Which we just established — you can’t actually do. Do you see that?

Can you see that you’ve been trying to manage your own emotional distress by managing someone else’s?

Hello, middleman between you and you!

And right now, it doesn’t matter why you’re doing that. You have your reasons, as I did when I struggled with this. And this habit once served you. But what matters most of all is that you let yourself truly see it without judging yourself for it.

Once you see it, you can start to understand it, and then you can make a new choice. That new choice is what leads you back into your peace.

So now that you’ve realized — oh, I’m only obsessing over making them feel better because I’m trying to make myself feel better — your next move is to tend to you.

What would make you feel safe right now?

What would make you feel relief right now?

If you're coming up with blanks, try this.

Imagine that anxious part of yourself is a child sitting in front of you. They’re obsessing over someone being mad at them. They can’t play or focus on anything else.

What would you say to that child?

Probably something along the lines of, “Hey, it’s gonna be okay. You don’t need to fix how they feel. They’ll talk to you when they’re ready. You’re safe no matter what.” And you’d probably hug them.

How do you think that child would feel if you said that to them?

Probably relieved. They’d probably feel like they could play again.

Now, try it on yourself. Go to that uncomfortable feeling in your body and talk to it like it’s that sweet child who just needs to remember they're safe.

Notice how you feel. What happens?

So, the next time you notice yourself obsessing over how someone else is feeling, pause, breathe, and ask yourself: what about me?

And give yourself what you wanted them to give you. The reminder that everything’s okay and that you’re safe.

But let’s not stop here. Schedule a clarity call, and we’ll talk about what’s weighing on you, where you’d rather be, and how you can get there.

If you consider yourself a sensitive, self-aware soul who’s breaking a cycle of self-abandonment, and this conversation resonated with you, consider subscribing.

  • When I let fear choose my outfit

I didn’t wear shorts on a 100-degree day because my legs weren’t shaved and I was afraid people would judge me for it.

After all, I’m a woman. I’m supposed to have smooth legs at all times… right? 🤡

This might seem so tiny, but this moment is just the tip of an enormous iceberg. And we’re going to look at it.

This is no different from when you don’t say what you want to because you’re afraid they’ll judge you.

Or you don’t create the art you really want to create because you’re afraid people will think you’re crazy.

This fear hides in the most mundane of moments, and it’s important we pay attention. Here’s why.

Fear of being judged tricks you into abandoning yourself all the time. Making you live for others instead of for yourself. I’m sure you can make a pretty long list of all the times this fear has made you second-guess yourself. I can too.

But what if I told you that you’re not actually afraid of others judging you?

What if I told you that you don’t actually care about anyone else’s opinion of you?

You’re probably thinking, “That sounds great, Hanna, but if that’s true, then why is it so hard to just be myself?”

It’s hard because you’re the one judging yourself.

Put down all the stories you have about what so and so said to you in the grade school cafeteria when you were 8 years old.

Who’s the one thinking those things right now?

Who was the one who told me on that hot day, “Don’t show your hairy legs. You look like a man, and that’s not allowed”???

Me. I had the thought. I believed it. And I listened to it. Despite my desire to wear the damn shorts anyway.

Here’s the reality: You can’t stop abandoning yourself if you’re still blaming others for what you’re doing to yourself.

So the next time you feel afraid to do something because you’re worried what others might think, remind yourself of this:

This crippling fear I’m feeling is my body saying, “the way I’m looking at myself right now kind of hurts…” Not, “watch out, they’re going to throw rocks at you.”

That’s fucking freeing. Because now, their approval of you doesn’t matter. Only yours does.

So, what would you do today if that fear of being judged was gone?

If it didn’t have the same power over you anymore?

What would you create, say, or wear?

But knowing this and breaking the habit of obeying the inner critic is a whole different game. And I’m here to help. I’ve created a simple solution that dethrones that inner critic and puts you back in control of your decisions.

That way you can finally live like you matter. And wear the damn shorts with your hairy legs. (Which I do way more often now, by the way 🦵🏻.)

If you’re ready to stop being controlled by the big bad judge in your head, book a clarity call or hit reply to see if the 30-Day Inner Reclaim is the right next step for you.

If you consider yourself a sensitive, self-aware soul who’s breaking a cycle of self-abandonment, and this conversation resonated with you, consider subscribing.

  • Melt stress away in minutes

An older version of me lived in chronic stress and anxiety. It was debilitating and miserable.

When the stress would hit, I’d feel forced to react to it. Become critical, obsessive, and angry.

I felt like I was at the mercy of my overwhelm.

I would drink or smoke to try and take the edge off, only to find that the intensity was waiting for me when the high faded. I eventually realized that what I was doing wasn’t truly helping. In fact, it was making things worse a lot of the time.

But I didn’t know what would help. Like, really help. The kind of help that frees you from being your worst self. That’s what I truly wanted.

And to maybe wake up in the morning without dreading the day.

I’m happy to say I’ve found that solution, and miserable wake-ups are mostly a thing of the past. (We all have off days here and there, though 😉)

But this whole stress-to-peace journey helped me realize something important:

We don’t need to escape or numb. We need sustainable relief.

We need stress relief that can meet us where we are, without demanding anything from us other than presence and a willingness to feel better.

Because there are endless opportunities to become stressed out. That’s part of being human.

The real question is: how are you handling that stress?

Maybe you’ve developed your own version of what I described above. Maybe it’s scrolling, overthinking, emotional eating, staying busy, drinking, smoking, or something else entirely.

Whatever the strategy, if it leaves you feeling drained, dependent, or right back where you started, it’s probably not giving you the relief you’re actually looking for.

The goal isn’t to eliminate stress completely. Because stress in small doses is actually good for us.

The goal is to have a healthy, sustainable way to move through it.

A clean way to come back to yourself.

A way to feel better without paying for it later.

And that’s exactly why I fell in love with EFT tapping.

But don’t take my word for it. Try it and taste the relief for yourself.

I’ve made everything super simple for you.

You don’t have to figure out what to say or where to tap to feel the relief. All you have to do is show up, tap along, and feel the difference. Grab the Morning Ease audio here.

If you consider yourself a sensitive, self-aware soul who’s breaking a cycle of self-abandonment, and this conversation resonated with you, consider subscribing.

  • Effortless Abundance Subliminal

✨ Return to Safety. Return to Enoughness. Return to the Abundance Already Here. ✨ Set it to loop while you sleep!

This subliminal was created to gently guide you back into the feeling of being supported, safe, resourced, and deeply held by life.If you’ve been moving through seasons of uncertainty, pressure, rushing, overthinking, scarcity, or feeling like you have to “figure it all out” before you can exhale… this is your invitation to soften.

This subliminal is here to help you reconnect with the truth that:🌿 You are okay in this moment.🌿 There is room for all of you here.🌿 You are supported, even while things are still unfolding.🌿 You don’t have to rush your becoming.🌿 Abundance already exists within and around you.

At its heart, this subliminal is about nervous system safety, trust, receptivity, self-trust, and allowing yourself to recognize the support, opportunities, beauty, and enoughness already present in your life.

You’ll hear affirmations centered around:✨ Safety & inner peace✨ Patience & divine timing✨ Self-trust & inner guidance✨ Receiving support with ease✨ Abundance & prosperity consciousness✨ Trusting the unfolding of your life✨ Feeling nourished in the present moment✨ Becoming available for overflow

💫 HOW TO USE THIS SUBLIMINAL:

Listen while sleeping, relaxing, journaling, walking, driving, cleaning, working, meditating, or simply resting. You can also play it quietly in the background while going about your day.

Consistency matters more than intensity. Think of this less as “fixing yourself” and more as gently watering a new inner garden.

There’s no perfect way to use subliminals. Let this be soft.

Even if you don’t consciously hear every affirmation, your mind is still receiving the repetition and emotional tone.

🧠 WHY SUBLIMINALS CAN BE POWERFUL:

Your subconscious mind learns through repetition, emotion, imagery, and familiarity. Over time, repeated messages can begin influencing the thoughts, beliefs, emotional patterns, and expectations you naturally return to.

Research in neuroscience shows that the brain is adaptable (hello, neuroplasticity ✨). The beliefs and emotional states we repeatedly practice can strengthen over time. When paired with safety, repetition, and intention, subliminals can become a beautiful tool for gently reshaping inner patterns and reinforcing supportive beliefs.

✨ If this resonates, leave a comment and share what you’re calling in, softening into, or learning to trust right now.

  • You don't have to wait to feel better

What does it mean to be the Source of your experience?

I’m skipping live channeling this week, so this will take its place. I hope you enjoy.

I want to speak on this as simply as I can — in a way that can improve how you feel in a usable way.

This perspective I’m sharing with you has been endlessly helpful for me. It’s what gives me the ability to make peace, let things go, and feel safe no matter what. But as with anything I share, filter it through your own discernment. Come to your own conclusions and ways of defining what it means to be Source. Your sense of resonance is your guide.

This idea of being the Source of my experience has excited me, empowered me, and confused the living daylights out of me. But a lot of the pieces of this puzzle have been coming together, gradually forming a coherent picture..

I have to say, though, the foundation of this understanding has everything to do with observing life as a mirror.

We’ve all heard it: as within, so without; as above, so below. Well, I’ve taken this very literally when it comes to making sense out of my life.

I approach every experience from the perspective that life is a mirror to my inner experience, always guiding me and helping me deepen my intimacy with myself and life (and the collective). Which means: every moment, on some level, is an opportunity, and is happening for me, not to me.

I didn’t wake up with this belief, though. It took a lot of experimenting with it before I finally agreed…yeah, life is reflecting me.

This understanding had me questioning my influence. It had me wondering, what’s my role in all of this? My answering that question (while also remaining open to this eventually expanding) has been a result of collaborative learning. I’ve learned quite a bit, extracting the pieces that I resonate the most with, and connecting my own dots of understanding from some brilliant minds.

Abraham Hicks, Dr. Joe Dispenza, Neville Goddard, and Florence Scovel Shinn, just to name a few.

The most common thread connecting each teacher I come across is that we are the Source of our experience by way of our habitual feeling and thinking, consciously or unconsciously.

We are individual expressions of this Infinite, unconditionally loving energy.

Or as Dr. Joe puts it, our personality creates our personal reality.

But let’s make this even more relatable. This is where my experimentation has led me home — to truly understanding and living in practice with this wisdom.

We all have desires. We all want things. We all feel this call of expansion.

Most of the time, that call comes in response to some dissatisfaction with what is or has been. That desire looks like the solution to the problem or the dissatisfaction we feel. But many of us loop in that cycle of dissatisfaction, never allowing ourselves to feel relief until we’ve gotten this thing or until this person has changed or until the reflection in the mirror is different.

But if we are the Source of our experience…then that change in circumstance could never truly resolve our dissatisfaction.

We could, however, give ourselves permission to feel relief based on the condition that this thing changes.

Do you see what I’m saying here?

We tell ourselves all the time, thereby denying our own influence, that it’s the circumstance or the lack of money or the absence of a lover that’s making us miserable. When really, it’s how we’re relating to this present moment that defines how we feel.

And how we habitually feel and identify with the moment is what creates our state of being, which ripples out into our behavior, which ripples out into cause and effect (or as Dr. Joe says, causing an effect), which ripples out into observable experience within your external world.

(If every part of your being is fighting me on this, then disengage. But if this is freeing you, turning something on in you, then really think about what this can change for you.)

I mean, think about it — can you actually control how someone perceives you? Can you actually control what someone decides to do? Can you actually control time or nature or all the little pieces that make up life and allow it to function every moment of every day? Like, directly control it??

    No.

And if “reality” functions as a mirror, then what’s the only thing you actually need to control (or can control)?

    You.

    Your perception.

The way you’re defining this moment.

    The way you’re focusing internally.

    And what does that influence?

    → How you feel.

→ The thoughts that become available to you.

    → The ideas you access.

→ The texture of the experiences you eventually have.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not completely dismissing the external world. We learn through experience (which is what led me to this understanding), but we create/align with new, preferable experiences through our conscious awareness. Our conscious participation with life, on some level.

This perspective truly benefits those who most desire to be self-led, spirit-led. What I’m pointing to here is a collaboration with life through consciousness. Using our experiences, which makes our desires apparent, and then using our consciousness to alter our own inner focus, therefore our inner experience.

I’m speaking about lived detachment and self-sourced fulfillment.

What’s this look like in practice?

Let’s say you want your finances to change because when you look at what is, you feel this unbearable sense of dissatisfaction. And logically, you have every right to feel that way, right?

But this whole “I am the Source” concept turns that over on its head and brings it into question. Maybe we don’t have to feel dissatisfied with what is if our energetic state of being is influencing our experiences. Maybe we need to change how we’re looking at this moment.

I’ve resisted this for a very long time, pleading with my external circumstances to change. Telling myself, I’ll never be free to feel abundant or safe until things change. But the continuing cycle of disappointment that comes from that has taught me the beautiful, yet devastating lesson: I only feel how I feel because of how I’m internally defining the experience or myself within it.

It’s my perspective on the situation that dictates how I feel. Not the situation. Not the external circumstance. Not their behavior. Not anything outside of me.

In fact, those circumstances or challenges are doing me the great service of highlighting (triggering…hehe) a feeling I’ve been habitually practicing, SUBCONSCIOUSLY.

Why? So I have the glorious opportunity of deciding again: is this how I want to continue to feel? Am I ready or willing to shift my perspective, therefore, shift my state? Am I ready or willing to experience something new?

Let’s go back to our money example. How do we apply this here?

Well, first, we have to become aware that we’re expecting an inanimate object, which we have no direct control over, to change how we feel — which is determined by the way we’re internally focused in that moment.

This is where you can use your mind, your thoughts, your imagination (whatever you prefer) to shift your state.

If it’s not the numbers in my bank causing me to feel doubtful and shitty, then it must be my less-than-fulfilling thoughts I’m having about it. Which points to me standing in a state of lack or discontent.

Just observe this. Don’t judge it.

Maybe to feel better, I can resolve that emotional tension (hello tapping), hold space for the emotion that keeps me circling these negative stories, and then gradually guide myself into a gentler, more pleasurable perspective.

This is where individual discernment is extra important.

    This is different for everyone.

For me, this looks like tapping through my discomfort around the thoughts I’d been hearing like “there’s not enough” or “will I get more,” etc.

Feeling the uncomfortable feelings in my body while tapping (it helps me process them so nothing lingers). And then offering new thoughts.

Sometimes I can jump right into imagining things as I want them to be, and it feels delicious.

In that moment, I know — I’m the reason I feel good, not the circumstance. I simply used the idea of something I wanted to guide my body into a better feeling state. I did the same thing when I felt bad, but I did it from an unconscious, emotionally unresolved state.

Other times, I have to be softer.

I have to help myself feel okay with this moment because that’s as far as I can reach. That looks like thinking thoughts like (while tapping) “maybe I’m safe in this moment” or “everything’s okay right now, look around, nothing’s wrong” or “everything might turn out better than I think.”

I really just have to meet myself where I am. This process isn’t perfect. It’s a practice of attuning every day. I’m finally starting to understand the ins and outs of this process in a way that I can practice more deeply and share with you guys.

To bring this whole conversation home, though…

Being the Source of your experience means taking emotional responsibility in the moment.

It means taking ownership of your feelings instead of blaming the world around you. That doesn’t mean we don’t have experiences that suck or that destabilize us or trigger us endlessly, but it does mean that each moment is an opportunity. Each moment is a teacher, if we’re willing to learn. And each moment is a new chance for you to feel better and better and better.

    Because that’s what you deserve.

To feel fucking glorious. At least that’s my opinion.

I trust that this will serve and inspire those who resonate.

Here’s a way to help this truth land in the body

But let’s not just talk about this. Let’s be about it. Let’s integrate this understanding into lived experience.

Tapping bridges the gap between understanding and embodiment. It works with your nervous system in real time, so instead of just telling yourself “I am the Source of my experience” and hoping that sticks, you begin to actually feel and respond from that place even when emotions are heightened.

This is where the concept stops being something you want to believe — and starts becoming how you naturally live.

So I created a tap-a-long ritual you can start using now to break you out of this disempowering cycle. No more relying on the external world to give you a sense of richness, confidence, success — or whatever it is you’re craving.

It’s just 15 minutes long and can help you permanently alter how you view your life experiences, putting your power back in your hands.

Download it here and start tapping. Tap as often as it feels right for you and until you feel the shift. Make sure to hydrate!

And then start feeling all the wonderful things you’ve always wanted to right where you are. Just as you are, you whole, Infinite being.

Be patient with yourself, though. You’ll ebb and flow with this process as you unlock a new rhythm. Trust your body. Listen to it daily. And love yourself every step of the way through it. And of course, I’m here to guide you through it if you need. Just book from one of the links below.
