An important  review of witchcraft from a Christian perspective. Sadly, our TV shows and music teach Witchcraft so odds are good you have experienced a witchcraft attack and you may have even unleashed one without your awareness.This Rollup is the culmination of many books in general and research into ancient documents as well as personal experiences and attacks. I’ve had run-ins with witches recently and witches share a common condition: demon possession. The stronger the witch the greater it is. Hence this book review on Discerning the Spirits by Frank Hammond.Frank is an author of Christian related books, particularly on the deliverance ministry. In 1980 Hammond founded The Children's Bread Ministry with his wife (and sometimes coauthor) Ida Mae Hammond.From what I can tell Frank erred on the side of caution because he taught that resentment, gossiping, compulsive eating, forgetfulness, sexual and mental problems – were caused by demons requiring deliverance. This book answers questions like:My parents (kids or friends) are driving me crazy. What do I do?I'm a Christian, isn't it wrong to set boundaries and drive people away?What does the Bible say about driving people away?Is it wrong to isolate myself while I recover from a bad experience?Do abusive people intentionally violate my boundaries?How can I tell if I am victim of abuse?Shouldn't I submit to authority, bear my cross, and love my enemy?This is a must read for parents! I underlined something on nearly every page. What a fantastic book!The best way to articulate the importance of boundaries is to use the natural ones that are supplied by life and circumstance: water is a natural boundary for fish just as bedrooms are a natural boundary for siblings and roommates. Overstepping these boundaries can be offensive, dangerous and even life threatening.Only you know your limits, and thus it becomes your responsibility to communicate, educate, defend and enforce them. A boundary with no consequence is merely a challenge for others to conquer. It might become a way for them to demonstrate their superiority over you; a game. First we must learn what our boundaries are and then commit to respecting them. Perhaps the most compelling revelation is that we must even set boundaries with ourselves! A person who fails to respect a boundary they set with themselves will struggle enforcing boundaries with others; and therefore suffering occurs unnecessarily because of this.Dr. Henry Cloud is an American Christian self help author. His 1992 Boundaries book sold two million copies and evolved into a five-part series. Cloud was born in 1956 in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Cloud has a BS in psychology from Southern Methodist University and a PhD in clinical psychology from Biola University (1987).Dr. John Townsend was born in 1952 and grew up in Wilson, North Carolina.
