  • BPT #039: Cyberbullying, Eulogies, Vegas Shooter

Plug this bish in for that BPT dosage you been fixing for. We had some fun flexing those creative muscles with a few of these dark topics and a sort of recent tragedy.

... And here's the break down

Lonnie started the show with some cold hard facts on bullying, cyber bullying to be more specific.

Justin thought it be fun to try on some eulogies. The Boundless PodTrap trio prepped their own speeches for each host.

It has been about time for another deep dive which Jeremy brought up the topic of the Vegas Shooter. Lots of open loops and conspiracies for a closed case.

  • BPTMR #018: Begotten (1989)

This has been one of the hardest movies to review collectively from all of us at the Boundless PodTrap.

Begotten is not the worst thing out there, and it is not the hardest thing to digest by subject matter, but the "language" this uses to convey its art has merits in creativity, it is just not our cup of tea. We like to give the director/writer E. Elias Merhige his due for taking risks and touching on the retelling of the Genesis story. The guy makes wicked awesome music videos but full length was hard, hence the 1 star BPT Rating.

Many forums rave this movie and gleam so much from it which is pretty neat but thats probably the best part about this movie for some of us here at the BPT. Give the episode a listen so that we may save you time from watching this... or inspire you to check this out.

  • BPT #038: Dorothy Booraem
Hey, remember that cool lady from the last Movie Review episode Corruptor? Yeah, Dorothy Booraem, well she's back and we had an awesome time getting to pick her brain beyond just that film.
Dorothy has been in the filmmaking business for roughly 15yrs under Unfiltered-Entertainment. She has tried her hand in other mediums such as directing, acting and her latest being the launch of her novel Heartless which we deeply delve into on this episode.
It was such a joy that the boys of the BPT were able to bask in the insights and musings of the one Dorothy Booraem, the Exalted Lady D.
Tune in to catch the full episode and be sure to follow us on our socials.

  • BPTMR #017: Corruptor (2017)

Today’s movie is a horror/thriller flick by our friend, Dorothy Booraem. This movie from 2017, simply titled  “Corruptor”.

Dorothy is the writer and director of Corruptor which gave the boys of BPT a wonderful opportunity to actually pick the brain of the creator and get the insider perspective. We had an awesome time to ravage through this possession film and peer into her mind.

Big thanks once again for Lady D to offer her time and art to The Boundless PodTrap Movie Review. Be sure to tune in 2 weeks from now where we dedicated a full podcast to her and many sorts of her other works.

You can check out Corruptor in a few of these links

  • BPT #037: Embarrassing Questions, Spreckenzie Deutsche, Jeopardy
Wassappen’n!!! We’ve got a descent one this time around. Things have been moving in the background of Boundless PodTrap preparing for more for Short e Films, if you know, you know. With that being said we’ll get into it.
Lonnie kicks it off with a Embarrassing Question game ...with a twist. The boys were suppose to prepare some questions to ask each other primarily to see if they have the balls to answer. Obviously some of the stuff has to be edited out to avoid legal action.... We aren't monsters.
Justin takes us over seas to practice his Deutsch. He scrounged through many a dictionaries to find those fun German words that are so amazingly thick with substance. The Germans have an excellent way of creating a word or compound word that defines something that takes much effort for english speakers to try to explain.
Jeremy loves Jeopardy. As a fun little closer, Jeremy fills a Jeopardy board to test Lonnie and Justin’s smarts, since they are obviously the smarter of the 3.
Listen in and see how it goes.  Thank you for your listenership, catch us on our socials @ linktr.ee/boundlesspodtrap

  • BPTMR #016: Division III: Football’s Finest (2011)

This Monday morning, The Boundless PodTrap presents to you our 1st sport flick "Division III: Football's Finest" starring Andy Dick, also starring the writer and director, Marshall Cook, and a good handfull of the best from MadTv.

Being that this is a football movie and only 1/3rd of the BPT is a football fan, 4/3rd of the BPT are most surely comedy fans, as well as Andy Dick lovers. Wouldn't be comedy without saying "dick lover". This film may not leave a lasting impression but it's definitely a hilarious and raunchy movie anyone with dark humor can enjoy.

  • BPT #036: Best Celeb Butt, You're an A-hole, How To Make A Movie -Short e Films Edition

Welcome back lovely listeners to BPT036!!

We have a bit of fun kicking it off with a Bracket game, ranking the best celebrity butts, created by Justin. It was suppose to be quick but it's not Justin fashion to exit a topic early.

Lonnie leads the spoilers trivia game, so be sure to @ him with the complaints.

Jeremy pulls the switch up on us this week so with our main topic, we end up giving a few ideas and concepts on how to make a movie by our own experiences. As most of you know, The Boundless PodTrap is also Short e Films, so we have a history of being behind and/or in front of the camera. Definitely a subject we could return to with a solid structure but an excellent topic nonetheless.

  • BPT #035: Childhood Toys, House of Leaves By Danielewski, Tail End
Quite a random episode, but aren't they all.
Jeremy walks us through toys we loved as kids. Each of the hosts cast their favorite toys and the toys they always wanted but never had.
Justin sort of curve balls by ditching his topic last minute to do a book review. A compelling book called House Of Leaves by Mark Z Danielewski. Justin speaks about this new obsession, that resides in the time of a book. Stealing a line from said book “this seems ridiculous at first until one considered how the impact of such an implausible piece of reality could force anyone to question their own perceptions” (pg28). A book that will drive you mad. If you like reading and want a mind fuck, check it out.
Lonnie handles the tail end of the podcast with lots of talk on the tail end. You'll see (or listen rather).

  • BPTMR#014: A Nightmare On Elm Street (1984)

Another classic horror flick, A Nightmare On Elm Street. Lonnie's favorite movie of all time so this comes in with high regards with a BPT Rating of 8.5✰
So many movies spawned from this, not just the Freddy franchise, I mean we are talking other horror, thrillers, even adult (you'll have to search those on your own).
What are your thoughts? Who's the best slasher? We'd love to hear from our listeners!
