Welcome back to The Boundless PodTrap Movie Review. This one is one of immensity, one that has changed social politics with some very successful advancements. "V For Vendetta" comes in with a BPT Rating of 7 Stars.
This was a fan pick which who was brought on the podcast, JJ Johnson. A good friend of Justin and an ardent patron of the works and art of Alan Moore, the creator of the comic book this movie is based on. Tune in for our hot takes. June 07, 2021 BPT #026: Movie 4 Pack, Who Raised You?, 2 Lies and a Truth Lonnie Edition
Welcome Welcome!!

First podcast of the month of June. Lonnie took the lead for The Boundless PodTrap Episode 026. Jeremy kicked off after the opening ramble with and interesting topic of compiling a 4 Pack movie as you see in bargain bins at Wal*Mart. The boys are given a genre and build what they think may be the best introduction to a starter pack, something to get someone hooked on must see movies.

Justin picked up the baton from there and ran with a topic titled "Who Raised You?". We dig deep into our past and pull television shows that had a big impact on our own character and/or values. If you have the time to go back and re-live some of this nostalgia, or if you aren't familiar with these, we definitely recommend searching a Best-Of on youtube.

Lonnie ended up closing us out with a 10+ Questions of 2 Lies and a Truth about his own life experiences. It's crazy how much we learn about the experiences in his pants.

A team of cops try to put away a crime boss, great character struggle and amazing choreography, with a beautifully tragic Shakespearean ending. A fast pace movie that gives you what is necessary and isn't trying to show off with big budget Hollywood explosions. Oh Hi there. Good to see you again. The Boundless PodTrap brought in a guest for Episode 025, Jon Marshall returns on the main podcast by popular demand. Or maybe it was because he did so well on BPTMR004 podcast. Or maybe it was because it was recently his birthday and he had nothing better to do. Well whatever the reason he brought the laughs and stories as we bantered back and forth about topics he brought in.

We kicked it off with a short recap of the ghost hunt we did which will eventually be an extra once we sort though the trove of footage. (What a great $10 word). We rubbed a lamp and a genie granted each of us 3 wishes in which we shared and degraded each other over. It was splendid.

Its only fitting to get into this comedy flick. We jumped into some stories and behind the scenes on set with the usual outlandish antics. Fans still talk and rave about this one. Got a hot one here! Lonnie picks 1986's Stand By Me with an ⑧⭐ BPT rating. With a great cast of big names back when they were little to no names. We got Wil Wheaton, Corey Feldman, Jerry O'Connell, and the late River Phoenix. Opposite them with Kiefer Sutherland.

This is one of those that will take you back. Its a visually simple movie with complex undertones of relational issues and family trauma grouped with coming of age and friendship themes.

Greetings from the Boys of BPT! With much going on in our personal lives we used the beginning part of this episode with some lengthy chit chat before breaking out the topics. Hey, you get what you get 😜
Lonnie kicked us off with the most metal mental disorders, or at least what he deemed metal in the allotted time to research for this podcast episode.
Justin invented a new segment called "You thought we forgot about that". It'll be a segment where we cover past stories of something that was significant, crazy, weird.. unbelievable even. Something that has been by passed or over looked through the constant cultural drop of news, products and media. The boys picked a story a piece to temporary throw back on your radar.
We got fifty face full of facts with Jeremy. Number 43 will blow your mind. (We couldn't help ourselves)

2007's Alpha Dog starring Emile Hirsch, Anton Yelchin, Bruce Willis and Justin Timberlake.
This was definitely a movie that will kidnap you and take you for a ride. The Boundless PodTrap gives it a rating of 6 out of 10 stars. Check out the episode to get our individual ratings.
This movie was based on a true story and stayed as close to the facts for maybe a good 75% of it. Even still, a great flick worth checking out. The subject matter is sensitive and can be put off for those who are easily triggered. If you rather not watch it then that's what we are here for ...duhh :)

Jon chose the 2004's The Terminal featuring Tom Hanks, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Stanley Tucci as this weeks Movie Review episode. At first it might seem like a bland flick but it has some meat to it. An all-star cast with some great performances along side an up and rising side cast such as Zoe Saldana and Diego Luna.

April 12, 2021 BPT #022: Motorcyclist, Marriage Proposals, Straight Edge
Get it while it's hot!!

Monday morning kicking it off with episode 022, wearing some tutu's. Jeremy definitely got the legs for it and so he throws out the topic first with "Who is to blame for motorcyclist accidents?" An interesting topic that seems to be the focal point in many events. Is it the risk a biker must assume along with the blame for choosing to be a lesser visual motorist? Is most of it an emotional response because of the greater risks involved. If you have listened long enough, you know we at the BPT are the perfect source with only correct answers. :)

Justin picks up from the coattails of a previous topic with Marriage Proposals and the fails that proceed them. Much like the gender reveal topic, these things are equally as controversial in todays age with the majority of internet proposal vids being all for views. Much of them are staged and the events that surround some of them turn dark fast. You didn't think we weren't gonna go there did you?

Many episodes have left little seedlings of Lonnie's topic but it has not been discussed fully up until now on The Boundless PodTrap #022!!! Lonnie brings up some interesting tidbits of the Straight Edge history and rules. How could a group aimed at a condition of positivity become almost a cult of negativity. Well if it can happen with certain vegan or cross-fit groups, it can happen to straight edge too.
