  • BPT #029: Short E Films, Underground Music, Gretna 5

1 more episode until we reach BPT030. Another milestone coming up. More on that one in about 4wks but how about we reel it back and discuss this one, BPT029. I think that sounds good. MMkay.

The Boundless PodTrap was pretty excited to finally record in what is the new official location. BPT HQ, anti gravity boots, separate urinals, we got it made!! Well, minus the boots part, one can wish.

Lonnie dropped a few ear worms on Justin and Jeremy with a summary and example of Underground Music. We listened in off-air to avoid YouTube's strike policies but you can check out what we had the oppurtunity to check out in these links below. If the links are broken then frick'n search em, dummy

Wesley Willis - Rock N Roll McDonalds
Bingo Gazingo - The More I Love You More
Clowncore - You Have Cankles and Toilet

Jeremy discussed the process and release of "One More Body" and some details about our production company of Short E Films which you can follow on YouTube and FaceBook

The Final Topic led by Justin was the "Gretna 5". A bit of a deep dive of a relatively recent local tragedy with a few important points and discussions.

If you want to continue the discussion you can give your opinions on the Facebook Page.

  • BPTMR #010: The Evil Within (2017)

The Boundless PodTrap discuss The Evil Within released in 2017 starring Sean Patrick Flannery, Michael Berryman and an excellent lead by Frederick Koehler.
This one is a mind trip. It's one of those creative artsy films that have it's own unique style. Unfortunately the brain behind this style passed before the release of his first movie. Had he maintained his faculties, I'm sure Andrew Getty would have put out a few gems after this.

Tune in and get our take. Thank you for your listenership and be sure to follow us on our socials and whatever platform of choice you prefer.

  • BPT coming to an end..

...an end of weekly releases, for now. Due to the excessive time spent and time needed, this week we are releasing this update of podcast changes rather than a full Boundless PodTrap episode. You will still receive a BPT episode and Movie Review but we are going back to every other Monday rather than every Monday. We've made some big strides and commitments recently which we will discuss at a later episode. Until then, much apologies but here's a short mini-sode of a few updates.

  • BPTMR #009: Election (1999)

The boys of The Boundless PodTrap make their first 'local' movie review 1999's Election by Nebraska Native, Alexander Payne.
This one was a walk down memory lane primarily with the scenery and at the time "current talk of the town". Categorized as a Dark-Comedy, this one touched safely on some harsh themes. Cast included Reese Witherspoon, Mathew Broderick and the introduction of Chris Klein, another Omaha Native.

  • BPT #027: Reddit 50/50, Hated TV Character Bracket, Song Review, Lonnie vs Justin - The Gentleman's Insult

    Greetings and Salutations!

Happy Monday! How are all you lovelies doing this fine week? Great! Wanna feel even better? Slather on down with your favorite podcast The Boundless PodTrap for some good ol entertainment (Not safe for children and or most work.... You've been warned).

Lonnie kicks off with Reddit 50/50, a confusing game at 1st but easy to understand. The boys answer some questions and if they get something wrong they take a ride on the the Reddit 50/50, a 50% chance of clicking a happy link or something most foul.

Justin takes over with another bracket. We got encouragement from our previous large horror bracket we did back on BPT011, which then inspired us to reach out to the actor who played the winner (Terrifier: Art The Clown played by David Howard Thornton) who guest in BPT012. This bracket we do not expect to contact the winner since we are voting who pretty much sucks the hardest. Go figure.

    Song Reviews
We've added an extra review from a listener submission, if you are interested in submitting any songs you'd like us to listen to and give our opinions about, submit at will.

    Jeremy - A Perfect Circle - 3 Libras

Justin - Zeromancer - House Of Cards
Lonnie - Watsky - Going Down
Listener Submission, Justin Smith - Otis The Rapper -Jughead

Jeremy took the last segment where Justin and Lonnie played the old fashion Gentlemen's game of insults. Tune in to see how it went.

  • BPT #026: Movie 4 Pack, Who Raised You?, 2 Lies and a Truth Lonnie Edition

    Welcome Welcome!!

First podcast of the month of June. Lonnie took the lead for The Boundless PodTrap Episode 026. Jeremy kicked off after the opening ramble with and interesting topic of compiling a 4 Pack movie as you see in bargain bins at Wal*Mart. The boys are given a genre and build what they think may be the best introduction to a starter pack, something to get someone hooked on must see movies.

Justin picked up the baton from there and ran with a topic titled "Who Raised You?".  We dig deep into our past and pull television shows that had a big impact on our own character and/or values. If you have the time to go back and re-live some of this nostalgia, or if you aren't familiar with these, we definitely recommend searching a Best-Of on youtube.

Lonnie ended up closing us out with a 10+ Questions of 2 Lies and a Truth about his own life experiences. It's crazy how much we learn about the experiences in his pants.

  • BPTMR #007: SPL: Kill Zone (2005)

Our first action flick, a Hong Kong movie from 2005, Kill Zone. Starring the infamous Donnie Yen and Sammo Hung. This movie gets a BPT rating of 8.5 stars.

A team of cops try to put away a crime boss, great character struggle and amazing choreography, with a beautifully tragic Shakespearean ending. A fast pace movie that gives you what is necessary and isn't trying to show off with big budget Hollywood explosions. Catch The Boundless PodTrap Movie Review and also check out the movie SPL: Kill Zone.

Thanks for tuning in with us. Leave a comment, tell us what you like or didn't like and tell us what you'd want us to review for future podcasts. Tune in next week for our regular entertainment podcast and in 2 weeks we will be covering V For Vendetta with special guest, JJ Johnson.

  • BPT #025: Jon Marshall

Oh Hi there. Good to see you again. The Boundless PodTrap brought in a guest for Episode 025, Jon Marshall returns on the main podcast by popular demand. Or maybe it was because he did so well on BPTMR004 podcast. Or maybe it was because it was recently his birthday and he had nothing better to do. Well whatever the reason he brought the laughs and stories as we bantered back and forth about topics he brought in.

We kicked it off with a short recap of the ghost hunt we did which will eventually be an extra once we sort though the trove of footage. (What a great $10 word). We rubbed a lamp and a genie granted each of us 3 wishes in which we shared and degraded each other over. It was splendid.

Next up on the docket, we discussed some favorite pranks we either did or seen others due. Here's the referenced zombie prank https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AXFhTXSLjco and the telemarketer scam to go with it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cIVfrBFc5og .

We finished the episode off with some more Unemployed talk. Unemployed was a movie starring our guest Jon, as well as everyone's favorite host Justin, written and directed by Jeremy. Its only fitting to get into this comedy flick. We jumped into some stories and behind the scenes on set with the usual outlandish antics. Fans still talk and rave about this one. If you haven't seen it, contact the BPT Facebook to snag a copy.
