The Boundless PodTrap

Curve ball episode, courtesy of Jeremy with 1990's Home Alone starring Macaulay Culkin. This was an easy (childhood) favorite by the Boundless PodTrap with a BPT Rating of 8.5.

Since it is the Holiday season, this has got to be one of the most agreeable classics. Some may say Christmas is about being trapped in a house with people attacking you on all sides... just lovely, isn't it?

This movie also stars Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern as the Wet Bandits and is written by John Hughes which is probably why Jeremy picked this one. :) Tune in to catch the takes.

As the year comes to an end, lives get a tad bit busy. This one is a "Bantersode", no scripts, no schedule, no outlines, no set ups. Just 3 sexy mofos in a room shooting the shit,.. Or auditorium I should say. We'll be back with more hilarity and goodies next month.

Another earlier Movie Review cut into the current BPTMR format. (Hence the Dewey Decimal system in the title :) ) You might recognize this review from episode BPT004 released back in summer of 2020.
Justin drops the movie Lake Mungo, a movie guaranteed to leave you arduously unsettled. For a documentary style movie set in the middle of nowhere Australia, it is quite smartly busy. It may leave you stirred and in need to watch it again because the poetic overlap it puddles in your mind.

Justin runs this episode kicking it off with the amazing Sylvia Browne. He gets into her life and the people who may have tried to hold her back and bring her to her chanananananees knees. See how that whole thing turns out.

The Boundless PodTrap covers 2017's One Cut Of The Dead
Does it feel like you've heard this one already? Yeah us too, probably because it was taken from BPT002 before we started an Official BPTMR, which stands for The Boundless PodTrap's Mother F^ckin Movie Review... plus or minus a few words.
To date, this is our highest rated movie, even before we established the rating rules.. I mean cmon, look at the episode art, there's a frickin star rating right there, hit the double dig's, which is short for digits, which isn't short when I have to explain it. So we slapped an official cover art, intro, and outro on it so it would fit the BPTMR format. We got a few more that will come periodically after this, there's no telling when. With Jeremy's busy schedule and Paco threatening us all, we decided to give a quick throwback so the listeners could have at least something to look forward to.
Onto the quick details, "One Cut of the Dead", a Japanese comedy-horror flick. It's a real tear jerker. It goes through several stages and relies on so much misdirection before it pulls the audience member in, so give it a chance.

Welcome Welcome Welcome! Have we got an episode for you.

Justin talked about what Life-Hacks are and how stupid a lot of these life hacks that are being pushed are.

Jeremy had a fun game called "Who Played It Better", matching up actors who played the same character. The Boundless PodTrap gave their personal picks.

We did a full 6 Song Reviews as well which if you are a fan of the Facebook page we will be releasing all songs in the next 2 weeks on there. Otherwise check out your favorites here. We worked in a theme here where the songs must be chosen by a musician or band where they are known for more than just their music.

Misconceptions of Hell - Rock N Roll Theater

Post Boredom - Everytime I Die

Fucking in a UFO - Rob Zombie

Glass and The Ghost Children Smashing Pumpkins

Party All the Time Eddie Murphy

Corrupted Imitation - Justin Milani

Good morning!!!
This episode is another guest episode, but of course you would know that if you are a Boundless PodTrap fan, as we have hinted from the previous episode.
We are in studio with Dave Demarco, a man of many titles, notably a Comic Shop owner at Legends Comics and Coffee in Omaha Nebraska. Do him a favor and like the FB page.
The movie we reviewed this week is 1986's Neon Maniacs
Demarco synopsis "You got the classic set up of a slasher film, the virgin, unrequited love, the kid who knows everything - the monster expert, and then it's like they (the writers) couldn't decide on what kind of monster they wanted to face so they decided they should face all of them, but just generic ones."
Tune in to get the rest of the review and stay tuned for BPT031 in 2wks and check out The Gate for our future movie on the docket.

Justin introduces an educational segment. The 1st of many series of fallacies. Communication is highly important for understanding and progress, but fallacies tend to taint and remove any stance of honesty. Justin pitches some popular logical fallacies of "gaslighting" and "strawmanning".

Another test of smarts, an auditory game of music from popular movies. Lonnie pits some good ones to lob out and see who can snatch it up first.

9/11, 20yrs later. What happened? Where were we? what's changed since? Tune in to catch our take as Jeremy leads this conversation.

This week we drop the Boundless PodTrap Movie Review of the 90's action comedy buddy movie Drive (1997)
A foreigner named Toby Wong (Mark Dacascos) looking to escape the chaotic life of being a weapon for an evil corporation, runs into Malik Brody (Kadeem Hardison) , a barfly trying to write a hit song but ends up taking more hits than he expected.  Under dire circumstances Toby politely kidnaps Malik to remove this chip from his heart in the exchange for some large money. The bad guys end up tracking them after every corner and they get themselves into some make shift looney toon style destruction. High action, great comedy and an awesome movie to suspend reality and go for a ride with 1997's BPT gives it a BPT Rating of 6.5 Stars
