These days, Yoga is one of a few things that can be recommended as a panacea for our challenges.
But do we all need to do it? And does it actually address life's difficulties?
This episode discusses the original purpose of Yoga, what role it plays in developing our awareness and the potential alternatives to find a sense of contentment.

What is a Guru? Do we need one? Are celebrities our modern day equivelant?
These are some the questions we ask in this episode, amidst discussing the difference between a person and something that acts as the function of a Guru. We share our personal experience with teachers and ponder whether our modern world requires us to have individual mentors or collective experiences.

For our first episode of 'The Bridge', we discuss the importance of choosing the direction of your life.
In a world that is seemingly filled with an abundance of opportunity, join us for a conversation about how to filter what you want from the noise and avoid decision fatigue.
We touch on the privilege of having choice, whilst also acknowledging it can be a burden as well (noting that in psychological studies choice is highly correlated with anxiety).
There are useful tips and tricks about how to do this, as well as the importance of having a direction to point your life towards.

Welcome to The Bridge!
Formerly Wavelength, Ziggy and Irene are back with a revamped podcast that is an evolution of our former project.
In this bridging (hehe) episode, we explain why we have changed the name and what we have been doing over the past 2 years between uploads.
The Bridge Podcast has a vision to integrate traditional teachings from Eastern wisdom traditions with the current understanding of Western science.
We are both renowned Yoga and meditation teachers with qualifications in physiotherapy and psychology aiming to fill the gap between modern science and spiritual teachings.
We share our insights as teachers and therapists, whilst interviewing interesting leaders from their respective fields, all in the hope of supporting people to live a fuller, more enjoyable life.
Join us to discuss what is currently known and seemingly unknowable.
In our modern world, we celebrate intelligence and intellect almost above all else. Yet, according to the Eastern wisdom traditions, our intuitive capacity is a higher form of mental capacity.
Join us for a chat with Jana Johnson, a psycho-spiritual counsellor who both Irene and Ziggy have worked closely with in the past.
Jana works with the physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, intellectual bodies through counselling and energetic healing and shares her wisdom with you about how to get the most out of your innate capacity.
Yoga is not only an incredibly popular practice in today's world, but it often comes with many associations. How accurate these understandings are and how diluted they may have become in our modern zeitgeist is another thing altogether.
Join Irene and Ziggy as they speak about Yoga from both an ancient and modern perspective, how it can be reimagined and what should stay integral to keep the fullness of its potential.
In this episode, we speak with dear friend of the show Dr. Sherif Tawfilis. Having originally worked as an executive in the Pharmaceutical Industry, Sherif found himself so burnt out and depleted he sought help through Shamanic methodologies.
Since then, he has found his path and become a Shaman himself, having studied under great masters in the Andes, Chile.
Both Irene and Ziggy have worked with Sherif before, experiencing the potency of his tradition and its capacity to heal deep energetic wounds.
This podcast centres around the idea that we need the sacred as part of our everyday, looking at both Tantra and Shamanism as different and yet similar methodologies to do this.
We hope you enjoy this riveting and expansive conversation!

The intent with which we live our lives and perform actions has a direct effect on our experience.
In this episode, we discuss how both Tantra and science understand intention, its power and capacity to create the life we desire.
Whether it be your dream job, partner or having a daily meditation practice, the clarity and conviction of your will and intent shapes your daily experience and the fulfilment of your desires! Listen to find out how.
Welcome back for Season 2!
In this episode, Irene and Ziggy discuss whether or not a personal, spiritual pursuit is selfish.
How we are in the world dictates our experience of it and to shift that, sometimes it is necessary to move away from our day-to-day activities to have an opportunity to recalibrate.
But what does that mean for our friends and family, all of whom have certain expectations of who and how we are?
They define what they mean by both 'spirituality' and 'selfish', leaning on their experience as individuals and Tantric teachers to address the question.
In our final episode for Season 1, we hosted a live webinar with Fluff founder Erika Geraerts.
Erika has been involved in various business ventures over the last 10 years, from agency to beauty, hospitality to publishing. After stepping down from her role as co-founder of Frank Body in 2016, she is currently founder and head of Fluff Casual Cosmetics, a brand trying to do better, telling the world that beauty is more than makeup.
This podcast centres around the learnings which have continued to drive Erika, as well as the concept of fearless action; what that means and how we can cultivate a sense of resilience in the face of adversity.
We look at ideas such as purpose/dharma, accepting failure, values-based work/living and rising to meet what life asks of us by connecting to our own sense of self. This final episode is not to be missed!
