Formerly Wavelength, Ziggy and Irene are back with a revamped podcast that is an evolution of our former project. 

In this bridging (hehe) episode, we explain why we have changed the name and what we have been doing over the past 2 years between uploads. 

The Bridge Podcast has a vision to integrate traditional teachings from Eastern wisdom traditions with the current understanding of Western science. 

We are both renowned Yoga and meditation teachers with qualifications in physiotherapy and psychology aiming to fill the gap between modern science and spiritual teachings. 

 We share our insights as teachers and therapists, whilst interviewing interesting leaders from their respective fields, all in the hope of supporting people to live a fuller, more enjoyable life.

Both Irene and Ziggy have worked with Sherif before, experiencing the potency of his tradition and its capacity to heal deep energetic wounds.

In this episode, Irene and Ziggy discuss whether or not a personal, spiritual pursuit is selfish. 

How we are in the world dictates our experience of it and to shift that,  sometimes it is necessary to move away from our day-to-day activities to have an opportunity to recalibrate. 

But what does that mean for our friends and family, all of whom have certain expectations of who and how we are? 

They define what they mean by both 'spirituality' and 'selfish', leaning on their experience as individuals and Tantric teachers to address the question. 

In our final episode for Season 1, we hosted a live webinar with Fluff founder Erika Geraerts. 

Erika has been involved in various business ventures over the last 10 years, from agency to beauty, hospitality to publishing.  After stepping down from her role as co-founder of Frank Body in 2016, she is currently founder and head of Fluff Casual Cosmetics, a brand trying to do better, telling the world that beauty is more than makeup. 

This podcast centres around the learnings which have continued to drive Erika, as well as the concept of fearless action; what that means and how we can cultivate a sense of resilience in the face of adversity.

We look at ideas such as purpose/dharma, accepting failure, values-based work/living and rising to meet what life asks of us by connecting to our own sense of self. This final episode is not to be missed!
