How many times does Danny have to say it? World War I or The Great War is his favorite subject on history. He did an entire eleven episode stretch on the subject after all. So how much more does he have to talk about? A lot. Because the subject is ever evolving and the voices providing information all have their own individual takes on the subject. Therefore, Danny wanted to take this opportunity to do something he really didn't get to do during his celebration and that is address The Great War at a macro level. There were a few books that explained macro phenomena, but Danny didn't care at the time to talk about the entire brutal 1914-1918 experience in a small podcast. However, this time he feels like he has the book and the structure to do so. He also has more confidence than the host three years ago. Separating the episode in ten macro questions and using evidence from Historian Niall Ferguson, Danny has an open, opinionated conversation about World War I, and why it was a pity, but also the personification of the human race. Enjoy the inspiring love of history with the crazy Danny Archive.
