The fitness industry sunk-cost fallacy is keeping many coaches and equally their clients stuck. It's a problem I've seen first hand impact the business of so many fitness entrepreneurs. In this episode, I reveal why you should be demanding more from the investments you're making.
Just like your clients, you could have access to all of the best information in the world. You could be told exactly what to do to build the business of your dreams but why doesn't it come to fruition? In today's episode, you'll learn about the real, unhidden challenges that stop you from building your business and why you've been lied to and let down by others praying on your vulnerabilities.
Predictability in business performance is incredibly important. As is profit. Most fitness coaches don't know how to create predictability in their business through marketing periods/launches and get stuck doing the same thing over and over without the results they want to show for it. In today's episode, we make sense of how to build predictability in your business through acquiring new clients and the fluctuations to expect in profit throughout.
In this episode I talk you through the process of building more trust with your audience. Coaches forget about the nurture process and how they position themselves on social media to bring more clients through the door. Always selling in public leads to your prospects being burnt out. Instead you want to go through very thoughtful and thorough processes of aligning all forms of content targeted towards a particular launch. When you do that, you generate more targeted leads, so you know who is actually interested in your work and can re-target them with more of your best stuff, alongside follow up processes. The more targeted leads you generate during each "pull" the more clients you sell to in a push. Those targeted leads build up over time to a point that you don't even need to sell in public and can use your platform to continue to attract prospects that you sell to in private.
In today's episode I speak about unethical practice inside of the fitness industry. Although, I highlight the importance of responsibility. Many people are exploited in vulnerable states and the responsibility you should take is to stand up for yourself and engage in conflict - a skill I believe coaches are lacking. Especially with household names that hold authority. There's a reason for this that I speak about in today's episode. I'm not for a second invalidating anybody's experiences because anyone that knows me, knows that I love calling out BS, consistently. For your own growth and progress, I've spoke about a philosophical approach that you can take to put this behind you and know that you can move on from it and truly experience the success you want to see.
The first episode in a new venture in the business world. I didn't see the need to create a brand new podcast because there's already so much gold that will help coaches in the previous episodes on this platform. Moving forward, I will be providing coaches with all of the knowledge they need to build their businesses in a way that feels right for them. Today, we kick off with predications for success and failure in 2025. The landscape of the industry is forever changing and this is what I believe we'll see in 2025!
A solo podcast from Jen this week whilst Mark's on holiday. She explores the concept of uncertainty and how it's shown up in her life recently, all in the ethos of social media not being real and normalising vulnerability as something we all experience.
In today's episode, Mark & Jen discuss the lack of real coaching delivered inside of the fitness industry. What's perceived as coaching, is something that coaches have been taught incorrectly. This episode was developed for both coaches and general population clients to raise awareness around the true art of coaching. So that more coaches didn't feel as frustrated, doubting their abilities & so clients would feel as if they're misunderstood.
This is exactly why Built to Coach was born. To transform how real coaching is delivered inside of the fitness industry for better success all round.
In today's episode Mark & Jen discuss their approach to overcoming challenges and managing expectations.
