In this episode of the Burn Pod Hannah is joined by Women's Health Education Network (WHEN) founder Peta Titter to discuss their upcoming projects. WHEN is a Hobart based not-for-profit organisation established with the core purpose of the support and improvement of the health of women's and the transgender community. It is driven by the need for easy-to-access, evidence-based information about women's, trans women's, trans men's and non-binary peoples health, at all stages of life.
They are currently working on some projects that directly impact our Burn and extended community including The Miscarriage Project, The Over 65 Project, The Transgender Project and The Youth Project.
Hannah is joined again by Darcy Stubbings, a Hobart based Physiotherapist and Clinical Strength Coach to dive deeper into their discussion on mobility, stretching and breathwork and the beneficial impacts upon your day to day life of incorporating them into your routine.
In part two of our Burn Pod series on managing stress and anxiety, We're going to focus on the key flow on effects of anxiety and what we can do to actually reduce the impact or overcome or help this feeling. Hannah is again joined by Laura Cini, an expert nutritionist and naturopath with over 20 years experience and owner of Laura Cini Wellness to look at evidence-based herbal medicine, nutritional medicine and some self-help strategies.
