Music is Emotional. And musical creation elicits emotional responses. But what is the inspiration behind a song? And what about its lyrics? Cue Troy Wiggins.
Troy is the Drummer from Reggae band - Roots of a Rebellion (R.O.A.R.), based out of Nashville, TN. A grassroots band with 6 members, Roots of a Rebellion just played at Bonnaroo Music Festival and released their second album, A Brother's Instinct. Their music can be found on every major platform and their reach extends from America to Europe and the Caribbean.
A thoughtful speaker and songwriter (despite being the drummer), Troy shares an insightful conversation with us about his band’s inception and we were blown away to learn how well they function together behind the scenes. Besides great topics such as augmented reality at music festivals and dread culture, Troy shares some personal moments with his band about a song he wrote for his father.
You can connect with Troy on Instagram @treece_wiggs and on Facebook at Troy Wiggins. You can find the band @rootsofarebellion on Instagram, Facebook, and Youtube.

Kevin Wong aka Kwongeroo (more on that nickname in the show) is a 26 year old world traveler from Canada known for his ability to globe trot on a $25USD per day budget.
His keen interest in traversing the world in the cheapest and most fulfilling way possible has unlocked his ability to optimize travel at all levels. Kevin can tell you the most cost effective (and savory) places to eat when you step into a new and foreign place and how to save money on transportation.
His current trip is 20 months long and spans over 50 countries. This episode becomes an insightful conversation about the mission to break the 9-5 job barrier and travel near forever. We make the intrinsic fear on the road something tangible for discussion, whilst breaking down the psychosis of travel anxiety.
Highlights from this episode include how American politics are viewed outside of the U.S. (Spoiler Alert: they care a lot more than we do) including the ripple affect abroad, Kevin's trip to see the Chernobyl Metal Dome, and tips and travel tricks for the newly adjusted backpacker.

Ingenuity and vision. Two staples of becoming a successful entrepreneur (and bus driver). Our most recent guest has them both. Let us introduce - Zach Hunter. A visionary and a creator, Zach went from developing shirt companies in high school to launching phone apps in college. His app has reached higher than 15th for food and dining in the Itunes App Store and can be found on 250 campuses nationwide.
He and his co-founder recently gave a TED talk on Risk Taking. Now he's here to share a conversation with you, our audience. In this convo you'll hear some of his public speaking secrets (spoiler alert: make them laugh), the thought process he puts into the outlook of a new idea, and what his spirit animal is.

Imagine what it would be like to travel the world, meet the most amazing people on the road, learn from them and gain an incredible perspective about how they live.
Now imagine…
I created The Bus Driver Experience as a way to gain a new perspective from the unique lives of other people - Olympic athletes, monks, porn stars - to not just learn, but EXPERIENCE what it’s like to be in their shoes for a day.
And do it in a way unlike how every other travel/interview show does it. Most other shows merely talk with these individuals.
But talking with these people isn’t enough for me.
I want to live their unique story. To understand not only what they go through in their day to day, but also why they’re doing it.
