Watch the boys dodge guidos, muscle bound bohunks, the clergy and Lin Shaye in Detroit Rock City. Finally, Mystery Inc. joins our heroes to stop a spectre in a KISS themed amusement park. Outworldly dimensions, music montages and product placement is rampant in Scooby-Doo and KISS : A Rock and Roll Mystery. I am joined by new permanent co-host , Jamie Jenkins!  This is a show full of scorned lovers, greed and just genreal insanity.  First up, Joan Crawford is out of the asylum and up to her old murderous tricks again.  Or is she? All this and shifty handymen in Strait-Jacket!  Then, When a brother steals his brother’s new bride and supposedly a bunch of money, he pursues them with a jealous heart and out of general stupidity.  Will love conquer all? All that and Delroy Lindo in Feeling Minnesota.  Finally, when a mob tart falls in love with her sexy handywoman, they make a play for a bunch of cash all while trying to screw over Joey Pantiliano.  All this and some very heavy petting in Bound.

Hey dog lovers!   You may not be after this edition of Cinema Beef. In am joined by Dan Chase as we talk about canines great and small. First up, Corey Haim adopts a golden retriever that comes with some strings. Those strings being that the dog is super intelligent and that it has a mini squatch counterpart who will kill anything in it’s path to be reunited. All this and Michael Ironside in Watchers!  Next, nosey reporter Ally Sheedy kidnaps a lab pooch not knowing his true potential. This dog doesn’t just run and fetch. He is imbued with the powers and traits of multiple animals and is set loose on man and feline alike. Lance Henrikson screams and shoots in Man’s Best Friend. Finally, when a group of pooch loving owners make it out the prestigious Mayflower dog show, they will stop at nothing to get that blue ribbon and the big prize.  The fur’s gonna fly with an all star cast in Christopher Guest’s Best in Show.

Cinema Beef is back with an all star cast.  We are joined by Gene Hackman, Red Buttons, Roddy McDowell, Michael Caine, Steve McQueen, Paul Newman, O.J. Simpson, Richard Widm, THat kid that played Bobby Brady, other shitty kids and most importantly Mike Maryman!  We are covering three films made by the master of disaster, Irwin Allen!  First up, when a giant wave films luxury cruise liner The Poseiden over, it is up to a small group of survivors to get to safety and hopefully see “The Morning After”  All this and Ernest Borgnine yelling in The Poseiden Adventure.  In The Towering Inferno, one of the grandest skyscrapers is making its big debut.  Little do the folks know what cutting corners is gonna burn them in the end.  All this and lots of burnt crackers in this 70s gem.  Finally, killer bees are taking the U.S. by storm and I don’t mean the tag team.  It’s up to Michael Caine and others to take care of business and save the nation from The Swarm!

Old Chuck Heston has all these problems and they are all addressed in this edition of Cinema Beef.  We are joined by The Projection Booth’s Mike White as we discuss three Heston classics.  First up, Chuck is a man among simeon in a struggle in equality and loin cloth maintenance in Planet of the Apes.  Next, Chuck is a man who feels happy about isolation.  Except for the army of  albino zealots who want to foil his plans every time the sun goes down.  All this and 2 crucifixions in The Omega Man  Finally, three overweight hosts talk about their feelings and the foils of overpopulation in Soylent Green.  Grab your gun and some tissue.  Chuck is gonna bring the pain and the vinegar strokes.
