Episode 106. Melissa wonders about her alternate universe life where she doesn't eat breakfast every day. Kyle updates us as he continues to watch Lucifer. We're excited about the new season of Umbrella Academy and we talk about Mulan coming to Disney+ for $30. Melissa visited the uncanny valley of 90s family cinema and Kyle spent too much time in Middle Earth in Buffalo Wild Wings.

Episode 105. We’re talking about cereal again. There’s more to say about cereal. Kyle tries to remember a movie about Mars. Melissa reveals the secret of a mysterious egghead. We name the most obscure box office flops that we did go see in theaters, and ask what otherwise down-to-Earth stories should add one supernatural element. Mr. Robot didn’t get any Emmy nominations and we’re very upset. Christian Slater! Parents love him!!

Episode 104. Kyle took a gamble on bedsheets and won! We discuss the New Mutant news, the Invincible TV series, and the tech channel G4 possibly making a comeback. Melissa doesn't know anything about contemporary video games, but she does remember the Dreamcast cryptid Seaman, the fish with a human face. We also think too much about anthropomorphic animal societies.

Episode 103. Kyle struggles with a camera purchase, is excited for some new video games, and has been reading through important comic series with his girlfriend. Melissa has suddenly befriended an old woman, misses when all computers were beige, and feels haunted by Robin Williams movies she only half-remembers from her childhood. We discuss hypnotism, tarot cards, and an elevator to nowhere.

Episode 102. We discuss what should go in a Chex Mix, our favorite cereals, and when to eat a pot pie. We share fond memories of weird things our moms have eaten or gotten spilled on them. Miss ya, moms! Take all the napkins you want! Kyle raves about the Netflix sci-fi drama Dark. Melissa raves about the Netflix coming-of-age comedy The Babysitter's Club. The eventual upcoming The Batman movie is already supposed to get a spinoff show about the Gotham PD. What other movies do you want a spinoff show from? Also, did your local library have a Bookmobile, a magical traveling RV full of books?
