Charlie ends the show talking about the Astros and what changes needs to be made on the team.

Cody Stoots in for Charlie Pallilo,  the hour starts with finding out how much of struggle Cody has with being a part of the show with a broken down laptop and dropping his phone in the urinal. Carlos Correa makes a statement that he wants the All-Star game to be his rehab game before he comes back fully to the Astros and Cody is not a fan of that idea. The third segment discusses the possibilities that the Rockets and Sixers will agree to a sign and trade for Jimmy Butler. The fourth segment discusses what is most important to Butler and if the rockets provide the best chance to win an NBA championship.

Charlie begins the second hour scouting the Astros’ next opponent, the Pittsburgh Pirates. He also previews next year’s College Classic at Minute Maid Park, featuring teams from the Big 12 and SEC. Finally, Charlie takes questions for "Stump Charlie," plus more baseball updates including Cody Bellinger of the Dodgers hitting a fan with a line drive foul ball.

Charlie kicks off the first hour evaluating the Astros’ losing streak that continued last night against the Yankees in New York and gives updates on other baseball news around the league. He questions whether the Rockets have space for a “third superstar” on their roster and shares his doubts about the Rockets’ offseason moves. The NBA draft was last night, so Charlie recaps the top ten picks and states his opinion on who “won” the draft. He wraps up the hour with the MLB’s allowance of the Rays to look into splitting a season between Tampa and Montreal.

Charlie kicks off the second hour criticizing the Astros’ recent performances and the Rockets’ new uniforms. It is 80 days until the Texans’ first game, so Charlie goes through his favorite football players and the greatest players who wore the number 80. He addresses George Springer’s recovery, undrafted basketball players, and summer league rosters around the NBA. Charlie wraps up the hour sharing his movie-watching preferences.
