They wrap up the hour discussing the best 88’s in NFL history.

Charlie starts off the show discussing the Astros and their upcoming schedule and all the options the Astros have to prepare for the playoffs. He gets into tonight’s Game 7, winner takes all, NHL Stanley Cup Finals game and Boston’s chance to take home 3 championships in less than a year through the Bruins. He finishes off the hour talking more MLB and players who are putting up outstanding numbers.

Charlie kicks off Hour 2 talking about the Astros and other MLB teams. He gets into the US Open coming up at Pebble Beach and what his thoughts are on that. Charlie discusses the Texans coaching staff including Bill O’Brien and what is expected of the team this season compared to previous years. Charlie talks about the Rockets ’94 and ’95 championships and how those series played out. He finishes off the show previewing the Astros game and Stanley Cup Finals game tonight.

Charlie kicks off the first hour of the show discussing Game 5 of the NBA Finals, including Kevin Durant reinjuring himself. Next, he covers the future of the Golden State forward, covering all sides of his future and how his injury may change his course. He wraps up the hour with a quick summary of last night’s events.

Charlie continues the show into the second hour by talking some Astros baseball, including the several matchups for the boys in blue and orange. Carrying on the baseball conversation, he transitions to a discussion about one of Jeff Luhnow’s very few mistakes, Milwaukee Brewers reliever Josh Hader. Listeners call in for the week’s Stump Charlie segment.

The hour begins with Texans news that the organization is looking for a new general manager came on the brink of the weekend in order to be swept under the rug and the story of Alvarez having the potential of being a great taking over most of the spotlight.  The Second segment is where Astros coverage continues to take place while he also analyzes each position within the lineup and bullpen and loves the depth. The Third segment continues to go through the players within their minor league system and how hard it is to crack the line up for the 2019 team. The final segment of the hour deals with the breaking down of the scheduling of the NBA finals.

After the break, he discusses the retirement of Tony Parker. He also speculates the future of the Golden State Warriors. The Texans are interviewing Ray Farmer and Martin Mayhew for the vacant General Manager position. Discusses the history of the Texans franchise in general and compares them to what kind of car they would be.  Then he talks about the recent games in the MLB. Mentions Kyle Tucker, the leader of home runs in the minor leagues. Game 7 of the Stanley Cup is airing on Wednesday.
