Charlie talks Rockets as well as the Astros hot start to the season before jumping into his brand new trivia segment, Stump Charlie!

Charlie starts the show with a classic April Fool’s joke to keep listeners on their toes and then covers the surprising Final Four for this year’s NCAA Tournament. A lot is going on in Houston sports but he hits all the main points with the Astros and Rockets. He talks more about the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 games from over the weekend.

For the start of the second hour, Charlie continues to talk about the teams that made it into the Final Four and the teams who came up short. Then, he discusses the Cougars and what’s next for Kelvin Sampson and Tilman Fertitta. At the end of the show, Charlie shares his excitement (not really) for Texas Tech and their fans.

Charlie gets on just in time for the second half of this hour and starts with the Astros and Opening Day. He also discusses the Coogs, their big game tomorrow, and the shocking news about their coach.

The start of the second hour lines up with the official start of Opening Day and the Yankees/Orioles game. There is also some breaking news about the Astros lineup a few hours before their game starts. Clark Kellogg joins the show. To close out the show, Charlie goes over all of the big sporting events going on today and tomorrow.

Charlie is joined by UH head coach Kelvin Sampson to dicsuss the Cougars incredible season, their Sweet 16 berth in the NCAA tournament, and the future of the program and himself within it.
