Opening day is tomorrow and what better way to prepare then a conversation with Astros play-by-play AT&T Southwest broadcaster Todd Kalas, who joins Charlie to talk 2019-20 MLB season predictions.

UH men's Basketball coach Kelvin Sampson joins Charlie to discuss the Cougar's berth to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament, the future of the program, and even address's some rumors about his own future.

Charlie gets the first hour of the show rolling with an NBA MVP discussion ahead of the meeting between the two front runners tonight. Then, Charlie talks about Forest Whitley’s first rude awakening at Minute Maid after a 3 run inning from the pirates, and Charlie touches on Portland’s Jusuf Nurkic and the horrific injury he suffered in double overtime last night. Charlie dives into the Astros lineup going into next year and where they compare to other AL powerhouses like the Yankee’s and Redsox. The show wraps up with some Antonio Brown news and more Rockets talk

Charlie talks a little opening day before diving into the Rockets vs. Bucks matchup tonight that serves as the perfect segue for a look at the MVP race with the two frontrunners playing tonight. Charlie lays out the stats, stories, and records while dissecting the MVP race and making a stout case for either candidate. Then Charlie wraps up with a look at the Astros and whether or not they take a step back as some of their pivotal players start to age.

Charlie is excited about the NCAA tournament after all of the wild finishes over the weekend and ready to talk about it all, but not before praising Harden for his performance against the Pelicans. Then, he goes in depth on the Astros and Verlander’s big extension.

For the second hour, Charlie continues talking about the NCAA tournament, mainly the Coogs’ advancement to the Sweet 16 in over three decades. Then, he turns to the Rockets and their remaining games. He closes out the show looking at the controversial ending to the Duke/UCF game.

The first hour starts off with Charlie giving his preview for today’s tourney games and UH should be able to dominate in their game today, plus he believes the Rockets need to win out the rest of their games for the season in regards to playoff seeding. Charlie talks about the upcoming star from Murray State Guard Ja Morant, who is now being considered a potential top 3 pick. Charlie turns his attention to the Texans poor offseason, why it will affect them during the draft and leading up to the regular season. Charlie brings up the new NFL rule changes proposals that have been made by the teams, and voices his concerns on each one.

To start the final hour off Charlie gives us a preview of the key tourney games happening today and what to look for. Charlie announces the firings of the head coaches in College Basketball and other potential firings that are to come. He then focuses on the contract extensions that have been going on in Baseball and what it means for the Astros upcoming contract renewals. Charlie is on location at Twin Peaks and kicks off the show ripping the Rockets apart for their loss to the Grizzlies. Then, he talks about Ichiro’s retirement after today’s game. He continues his calm rant about the Rockets’ performance in last night’s game.

The second hour of the show starts with Charlie going over the current NCAA Tournament games going on at the moment but then pivots right back to the Rockets. Then, he goes over his picks for the tournament. Ken Hoffman hops on the last half hour of the show to argue with Charlie about anything and everything.
