If you don't feel empowered to do ANYTHING you set your mind to after listening to this episode with Kasey Mansfield, you missed something so go back and listen again.
Kasey is so passionate about what she does and everything she's accomplished and will continue to accomplish, and she'll make you believe that you can do it all too!
She has lost over 100 pounds, moved to a new state with 3 kids and pets, started a new business with her husband, written a best selling book, and is currently writing a memoir.
We talk about all of this and so much more in this episode (including feeling lonely as an adult and humans against technology), but what I hope you take away if nothing else...is that you CAN pivot and you CAN do anything you set your mind to. Anything!
Also, if you've ever tried to lose weight and said:
"I've tried everthing"
"Nothing is working"
"I'm frustrated"
"I'm hiding in my house becuase I'm too fat"
>> You need to listen to Kasey's story.

This episode came from a post I saw about a little girl who was so proud of herself for a huge accomplishment, but wasn't sure if she actually SHOULD be, or was ALLOWED, to feel that pride.
I decided to talk about why it's so hard for so many of us, AND how to overcome it and get better at feeling proud of ourselves. As I think it's really important.
I also share a few things I'm proud of and challenge you to do so as well.
Here's the book I mentioned!

Rachel Kerr Schneider is an author, a speaker, and a woman who has had to navigate some of the toughest battles in life.
Listen to this episode to get a glimpse into her life of helping her husband through illness and her boys through grief and addiction, writing and speaking, and navigating a new blended family.
For anyone grieving a loved one, helping someone through addiction, single parenting, starting a blended family, or helping someone through end of life...this one is for you.
It's also extremely interesting and eye opening even if you're not going through any of the above. So I hope you'll listen anyway!

I went back and forth on publishing this or not. And ultimately did because I know it's something we've all dealt with, most likely being on both sides at some point.
I considered not publishing though because I don't want anyone thinking they can't come to me with things, even if it is just to vent. I tried to reiterate this a few times in the episode though, so hopefully no one gets the wrong idea.
But listen in, and tell me what you think!

We all have goals. And many times we never take actions towards those goals.
In this episode I help you understand why, and also how to actually take a step and get started!
I reference last week’s episode with Sarah Briones, I’ll link that here. That is a great follow-up to this episode if you haven’t already listened.
Time to take your next (or first) step, and experience the freedom of going for it!
P.S. I also give some good fat loss tips in this episode…yes, it fits. You’ll see. :)

We're back!!!! Meaning me...I'm back, haha! I've missed you!
In this episode, I explain where I've been and what I've been up to. And more importantly, I dig into my notes from my own therapy sessions to teach you all about BURNOUT.
Again, from my own experience and advice from my therapist. I am not a therapist and this does not replace medical advice.
I'll tell you what exactly burnout is, how to spot it, and how to avoid it. If you want to skip my updates and only learn about burnout...go to minute 10. ;)

I started this podcast to share life lessons with my nieces from my life experiences, successes, and mistakes. Life lessons that will never go out of style, much like…in my opinion anyway…CHEETAH…
I decided to share this with all of you as well in hopes I can help as many women as possible, at any age. But I also want this to be a safe place for younger women to find advice when they don’t feel comfortable talking to an adult in their own life about something.
The Cheetah Print Chats podcast will cover a wide array of topics, including setting boundaries, travel, fitness, body image, self care, money tips, grief, and more. Many of the episodes will be solo. I will be sharing a story from my life, and pointing out what I hope you can learn from it, as well as any tips you can apply to your life. But I will also be interviewing others from time to time when we want to dive deeper into a topic, or, if there is a requested topic in which I don’t have experience.
I’ve gone through a lot in my life…divorce, bankruptcy, massive career changes, cross-continent and cross-country moves, hard break-ups, eating disorders, feeling completely left out…but I’ve learned something from all of it, and that is what I want to share with you! My hope is that as you listen each week, you can learn something from my experiences to apply in your own life. And hopefully avoid some of my mistakes! I can’t wait to chat with you!
