So many of us get stuck in a rut of comparison. But what are we truly comparing ourselves to? Someone who has been working on something 5 years longer than us and has failed multiple times before being successful? Someone that has 10 daily habits to stay looking younger? Someone who has botox and hair extensions? Someone who goes to the gym everyday and works really hard to maintain their weight?
We see people and we think they're lucky, or have good genetics, or must just be "better than" us. But usually, not always, usually...people work for what they have, for how they look, for how they live their life. And we're comparing ourselves to what we THINK we know. But we really don't know their behind the scenes.
So what can we do about it? In this episode I'll share what you can do to stop or get ahead of comparison, plus some examples of how it can show up in your life, and why it's usually a false comparison.
Listen in! And let me know what you think!

Why is it so hard to change, even when we KNOW it’s best for us?
There are habits and processes we could implement into our lives that would make us healthier, remove a ton of stress, make our lives easier, get us closer to our goals…yet we don’t do it. Why?
I’m not the expert on this, but I’ve been researching a little on it, talking to my therapist about it, and also have some experience with it in my own life and from working with clients for years in the fitness realm.
In this episode I talk about the 4 main reasons we have such a hard time with change. Let me know which stuck out to you most!

This episode may not be the most popular, but it's going to one that I'll be grateful to have to look back on one day. I'm going to catch you up on what I've been up to, but also share a few pieces of advice for you that came from it.
Takeaways:
- Do the scary thing
- Take steps before things are perfect
- Surround yourself with people that are already where you want to be
- Leveling up doesn't mean hustle mode or staying busy, it can also mean slowing down

This episode is about my experience with S.A.D. (seasonal affective disorder). I mention this about 1000 times in the episode, but I want you to remember I am not a doctor and you cannot use this as medical advice. If you're feeling down, talk to a doctor or therapist, or call or text 988 to talk to someone immediately.
I talk through a few things that have helped me, and do help me still today, and I hope you'll try all of these for yourself. And remember, the sunshine is coming!
I also mentioned my light therapy lamp, here is my Amazon affiliate link to get one:

This episode is all about NOT getting what you wanted...yet it ends up being the best thing that could have happened. It's a reminder that our plans are not always the best plans.
Also I read a little story in this episode. The original author is Angela Elwell Hunt. Just want to give credit where credit is due.

Have you ever wished you knew it was the last time you'd see someone or go somewhere? Do you wish you had paid more attention to your surroundings and the people you were with in hindsight?
That is what I discuss in this episode. Being present. Usually, we don't know when it will be the last time, in whatever situation. But what I want to share with you here is how to take in the moment, take in the memories. So next time you look back, you don't have any regrets. You don't have any "I wish" or "what if's".
I hope you enjoy this episode, as always I appreciate your thoughts and questions and feedback! Reach out anytime.
I talked about a list of resources in this episode to help support the people and animals affected by the California Wildfires. I decided to instead include the link below which has a list in the article:

I started this podcast to share life lessons with my nieces from my life experiences, successes, and mistakes. Life lessons that will never go out of style, much like…in my opinion anyway…CHEETAH…
I decided to share this with all of you as well in hopes I can help as many women as possible, at any age. But I also want this to be a safe place for younger women to find advice when they don’t feel comfortable talking to an adult in their own life about something.
The Cheetah Print Chats podcast will cover a wide array of topics, including setting boundaries, travel, fitness, body image, self care, money tips, grief, and more. Many of the episodes will be solo. I will be sharing a story from my life, and pointing out what I hope you can learn from it, as well as any tips you can apply to your life. But I will also be interviewing others from time to time when we want to dive deeper into a topic, or, if there is a requested topic in which I don’t have experience.
I’ve gone through a lot in my life…divorce, bankruptcy, massive career changes, cross-continent and cross-country moves, hard break-ups, eating disorders, feeling completely left out…but I’ve learned something from all of it, and that is what I want to share with you! My hope is that as you listen each week, you can learn something from my experiences to apply in your own life. And hopefully avoid some of my mistakes! I can’t wait to chat with you!
