Curtis and I have a lively conversation about the student film community here in Chico and what led him to the unique, collaborative craft of filmmaking. Curtis Bell is the President of the Butte Film Institute, and is dedicated to building the local film community and empowering filmmakers. He is leading the organization of the Butte Film Festival, which will be held this year on Dec 6th-8th at the State Theatre, in Oroville!

Sienna and I get into the weeds with our love of plants and the outdoors, and how that inspires her ceramic pieces! Sienna Orlando-Lalaguna is the sole owner and maker behind Sienna Ceramics and makes field-to-table pottery based on the seasons for your kitchen, rituals, and feasts. Sienna also founded the Witch’s Market here in Chico in 2021, which will hold its fourth annual event this October.
