  • The Lock-In - Barny Boatman
This week, Barny Boatman is locked-in and lashing out at the creators of online poker 'throwables'.
It's a wonderfully heterogeneous show this week as David and Dara are joined by their great friend Barny to talk about everything from ageism in poker to responsible gambling, from Communism to Full Tilt, from economic bubbles to near-death experiences, from online poker tools to cacky bog roll.
The lads also own up to the fact that this episode was pre-recorded in June and decide to make some predictions for the news headlines.
Did they get any right? You will have to tune in to see.

With a little help from Isaac Haxton, the lads discuss poker paradigms. Plus, Ian’s got the news!

  • The Lock-In - Kevmath
This week, we are locked in and out wringing out Kevin Mathers for all his inside information!
It is with great pleasure that Dara and David sit down with Kevmath to discuss the stories of the week. The lads start off with a tribute to Layne Flack before talking about Phil Hellmuth’s 7th consecutive victory on High Stakes Duel.
Using Phil Galfond’s viral Twitter thread as a leaping off point, there is a deep dive on the possible origins of superstitions and their connection to transitional objects.
After that, it’s all WSOP stories as the trio discuss the wisdom of Landon Tice’s 8-1 bracelet bet with Bill Perkins, the prospect of Europe to US travel restrictions being loosened before the WSOP starts in September and the rumour that the 2022 Series will be played at Bally’s.
Kevmath is a good sport throughout, dropping knowledge bombs and quite possibly letting a bit of inside information slip.

  • The Chip Race - Season 15 Episode 5 - Toby Lewis Padraig Parkinson KL Cleeton
This week, we are joined by EPT champion, Aussie Millions champion and Wynn Millions chopper Toby Lewis. We also welcome the 1999 WSOP main event 3rd place finisher Padraig Parkinson. • The Lock-In - Carlos Welch
This week, Carlos Welch is locked in and blinging out proceedings with his brand new WSOP bracelet!
Carlos joins David and Dara as the trio discuss the news, gossip and scandals of the day.
First in the news is of course Carlos's victory in the $888 Crazy Eights WSOP Events few days ago for $125,000. Carlos summarises the key points of the tournament before telling the lads about his rags to riches story.
The topic then begrudgingly switches to the story of Poker's Icarus Landon Tice and his concession to Bill Perkins in their much hyped Heads-Up Challenge.
Doug Polk's return to the content streets is discussed as David wonders if Doug calling out Daniel Negreanu's losing streak was the ultimate jinx!
Olivier Busquet's hot-take on the use of charts re-ignites an old debate as Carlos and Dara weigh in on the wrongs of RTA but also emphasis the need for rules that were policeable.
David's rant this week is about PokerGO and their itchy copyrite claim trigger finger which he reveals effected past Chip Race Strategy Videos. The lads offer their takes on the pettiness of PokerGO who seem to be intimidating smaller content creators and disregarding fair use.
The final topic is the news that Mason Malmuth has sold the 2+2 Forums and Carlos gives us the inside track on how that means the discontinuation of the magazine and potentially other wings of the business.

  • The Chip Race - Season 15 Episode 4 - Jesse Sylvia Christian Zetzsche Barny Boatman Jason Su

Plus Ian’s got all the news and results.
    1 hr 34 min
  • The Lock-In - Thomas Keeling
This week, Dara and David are locked in and hanging out with the seriously serious Thomas Keeling.
The lads kick things off by sharing some memories about the 1999 WSOP Main Event champion Noel Furlong who passed away this week.
The conversation then turns to the recent PokerKing WPT Heads-Up event, won by Phil Ivey. Thomas gives his behind-the-scenes perspective and insights into why the event worked so well.
The lads then segue to another Thomas Keeling production - the limited Joe Ingram interview series with Phil Ivey and Tom Dwan - before turning their attentions to the Phil Hellmuth victory in High Stakes Duel II. They talk about Hellmuth’s astonishing winning streak whilst definitely not burying the lede... Daniel Negreanu’s losing streak.
David then tells the wild story of the French Businessman and High-Stakes Poker Player Arnaud Mimran who has been Sentenced to 13 Years for Kidnapping.
Dara delivers his strategy nugget on ‘Ace-high boards’ and the lads round things off by trying to get Thomas to dish done secrets about what’s coming up for PokerKing. Does he crack and spill the beans?
    Tune in to find out.
