I live in Southern Maryland about 20mins east of D.C, close to Andrews Air Force Base and on the Chesapeake Bay. This time of year it is not strange to have military fly overs or even the coast guard helicopters doing training.

However, about 5 days ago I noticed we have had helicopters flying overhead on and off all day and night. Although we sometimes will see this maybe one or two days out of the year this was above and beyond anything normal. We have lived here for the last 7 years. The helicopters and planes that have been going overhead have not all been what we normally see. Some are unmarked, others are military, and most of them are either staying above the clouds or something because you can't even see them to identify them.

Others have also confirmed that they have never seen this type of activity so many days in a row for so many hours. I heard that an inside source in the army said this week and next week, for the first time ever, they are doing training to prepare for major disasters. This is being done by all law enforcement and military agencies within a specific radius of D.C. (I think it was 100 miles). This week is police week and therefore you do see some training as normal however this is much different. They are planning for a major disaster in the D.C. area. This is not normal yearly training. This two week long exercise has never been done before and definitely not at this scale.

TEL AVIV – The Saudi press is still furious over the U.S. Senate’s unanimous vote approving a bill that allows the families of 9/11 victims to sue Saudi Arabia. This time, the London-based Al-Hayat daily has claimed that the U.S. planned the attacks on the World Trade Center in order to create a global war on terror.

The article, written by Saudi legal expert Katib al-Shammari and translated by MEMRI, claims that American threats to expose documents that prove Saudi involvement in the attacks are part of a long-standing U.S. policy that he calls “victory by means of archives.”

Al-Shammari claims that the U.S. chooses to keep some cards close to its chest in order to use them at a later date. One example is choosing not to invade Iraq in the 1990s and keeping its leader, Saddam Hussein, alive to use as “a bargaining chip” against other Gulf States. Only once Shi’ism threatened to sweep the region did America act to get rid of Hussein “since they no longer saw him as an ace up their sleeve.”

President Barack Obama’s aggressive new federal transgender rules require 55 million K-12 kids and teachers to speak in a new government-approved dialect, to ignore what science says about sex, and to comply with privacy-violating orders whenever even one teen in their school claims to have a “gender identity” problem.

Obama described the new federal agency directive and instructions, which were announced May 9, as “here’s how there are schools that have been wrestling with this problem, and have, we think, done a good job in accommodating them in a way that is good for everybody.”

The documents cite examples from far-left, pro-transgender schools in New York, D.C., California and elsewhere, that Obama is now imposing on all 100,000 K-12 schools and their 55 million American kids and teenagers. The italicized paragraphs are quotes from the 25-page instruction book.

A COMPREHENSIVE APPROACH TO ATROCITY PREVENTION AND RESPONSE

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, it is hereby ordered as follows:

Section 1. Policy. As articulated in Presidential Study Directive-10 (PSD-10), preventing mass atrocities and genocide is a core national security interest and a core moral responsibility of the United States. Noting that governmental engagement on mass atrocities and genocide too often arrives too late, when opportunities for prevention or low-cost, low-risk action have been missed, PSD-10 directed the establishment of an interagency Atrocities Prevention Board (Board), with the primary purpose of coordinating a whole-of-government approach to prevent mass atrocities and genocide. PSD-10 also directed an interagency study to develop and recommend the membership, mandate, structure, operational protocols, authorities, and support necessary for the Board to coordinate and develop atrocity prevention and response policy. This order continues in place the Board established in 2012 as I directed in PSD-10, sets out the support to be afforded by executive departments, agencies, and offices, and updates and memorializes the terms on which the Board will continue to operate in the service of its important mission.

Sec. 2. Definition. For purposes of this order, the term "mass atrocities" or "atrocities," neither of which is defined under international law, refers to large scale and deliberate attacks on civilians, and includes acts falling within the definition "genocide" as defined in international law and under U.S. domestic statute.

Sec. 3. Responsibilities. The Board shall seek to ensure that mass atrocities and the risk thereof are effectively considered and appropriately addressed by the U.S. Government, and shall coordinate the development and execution of policies and tools to enhance our capacity to prevent and respond to mass atrocities.

Video cameras at Burlington International Airport in South Burlington captured three spectacular views of a meteor that lit up the night sky over New England early Tuesday morning.

The wide-angle scenes from security cameras begin serenely enough: airport buildings, jetways, planes parked at gates, vehicles sitting on the concrete illuminated against a dark sky. The airport notes the time: 12:50 a.m.

Then, suddenly, what looks like a green-tinted fireball streaks across the sky. There are several flashes. The clouds light up. The scene glows.

After a moment, the sky goes dark again.

The bright flash, which was visible from several states and in Canada, apparently was left by a meteor burning up as it passed through Earth's atmosphere.

A plane with 59 passengers flying from Paris to Cairo reportedly goes off radar screens.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – A plane carrying over 50 passengers went off radar screens on Thursday morning, while en route from Paris to Cairo, Egypt Air said citing an informed source.

An informed source at EGYPTAIR stated that Flight no MS804,which departed Paris at 23:09 (CEST),heading to Cairo has disappeared from radar.

​According to the airline, there are 59 passengers and 10 crew members on board the aircraft. Meanwhile Egyptian media report that the plane is carrying 58 passengers.

Egypt Air said it is "verifying incoming data."
