  • Jelly Roll Sells Out, Greenville Race Hoax Narratives, and WNBA Double Standards (Ep #1,282)

**Jelly Roll Sells Out, Greenville Race Hoax Narratives, and WNBA Double Standards**

Clay Edwards tears into Jelly Roll after the country star hosted Jimmy Kimmel and unloaded on President Trump with weight jokes and approval-rating digs. After years of claiming he wasn’t political while taking photos with Trump and building a red-state, blue-collar fanbase on redemption and authenticity, the sudden pivot feels like a hard sellout. Clay argues Jelly’s card got pulled once he hit rarefied fame levels and that the core audience who connected with the “Save Me” era got spit on.

The show also covers the body of Robert Elliott, found burned and wrapped in a tarp in Greenville. Clay calls out the immediate leap to “Black people are still being lynched” narratives and the circulating lists that treat every non-gang-style death as proof of white terror in a city that is over 80% Black. He ties it to the broader pattern of race-baiting and oppression fetish he’s been tracking, including the ongoing Nolan Wells coverage.

Additional segments include police departments in blue cities allegedly marking Black and Hispanic arrestees as White on booking paperwork to skew crime stats, the WNBA store’s customization tool blocking “Jesus Christ” and “Jesus is God” while approving “Muhammad,” “Allah Akbar,” “I hate Jesus,” and similar phrases, and a quick look at national vs. Mississippi gas prices compared to the Biden-era peak.

No filter, no soft-pedaling — just the usual free-range take on culture, accountability, and the information war.

  • THE FALL OF JACKSON, IT HAPPENED QUICKER THAN YOU THINK. (Ep #1,280)

**Clay Edwards Show – Monday Edition**

Jackson’s decline didn’t happen overnight, and Clay walks through how North Jackson slid toward the same fate as the rest of the city — the visible changes he saw years ago while selling cars off the Toyota lot, the self-inflicted wounds of two Lumumba terms colliding with COVID, and why he believes the city will never fully recover without radical new economic anchors. He contrasts the hopeful pockets that remain (Fondren, medical corridor, pockets of development) with the broader reality of crime, failed retail, and leadership that turned a mid-sized city into a national punchline.

The conversation shifts to the Mississippi Coliseum versus the Coast Coliseum, Brandon Amphitheater, and other venues across the state. Clay breaks down the practical barriers — outdated loading docks, lack of modern VIP and green-room options, production headaches — and the bigger one: the perception of safety that keeps major tours and promoters away even when the building looks sharp on the outside. He and guest Andrew Gasser dig into what it would actually take to put Jackson back on the concert and festival map, from city and state coordination to simply booking artists who can draw.

Hour two stays focused on the Nolan Wells case and the machinery around it. Clay and Andrew examine the latest round of claims — including the debunked TikTok “nurse” story about mistreatment and transport of the body that made it onto national television — and why the narrative continues despite contradictory evidence. They discuss Christine Wansley’s public statements, the involvement of Ben Crump, the pattern of threats and pressure directed at people on the other side of the story, and the larger “death lottery” dynamic that turns tragedies into political and financial opportunities. The segment also touches on related culture-war flashpoints and why walking away from the story isn’t an option if the goal is to stop the same playbook from being run again in Mississippi.

Plus the weekend JPD 911 dispatcher scandal and the internal mess it exposes, a hard look at Carmelo Anthony’s failed bid for a new trial, and the broader double standards that keep showing up in these high-profile cases.

Raw, detailed, and unwilling to soft-pedal the race and accountability angles.

  • SHOCKING ALLEGATIONS OF SEX, DRUGS, DRIVE-BY SHOOTINGS & BLACKMAIL INSIDE THE JACKSON POLICE DEPT.

**Jackson MS 911 Dispatcher Arrested — Allegations of Erased Reports, Drive-Bys, Blackmail & Sex Inside JPD**

A 20-year-old Jackson Police Department 911 dispatcher is under arrest and a detective is on unpaid leave after an internal investigation into serious misconduct. Official charges against former dispatcher Taylor Williams include accessory after the fact and hindering prosecution. Police say she allegedly used department systems (including NCIC) to access and share sensitive information with people under criminal investigation, and may have diverted officers from calls.

But the internet rumors and inside accounts go much further — and they’re ugly.

In this episode of The Clay Edwards Show, we dig into the texts and claims circulating from sources inside JPD. One longtime officer called it “crazy stuff” involving a “dumbass dispatcher” and wannabe police officers that could leave a permanent scar on the city’s reputation. Allegedly, the dispatcher was erasing criminal reports of stolen guns and more. Her boyfriend is said to be a criminal who did a drive-by in *her* car — cameras caught it, the vehicle was traced back to her, and the investigation began.

The detective now on unpaid leave is reportedly the same one involved in the earlier Ridgeland Walmart fight. Sources claim he knew what the dispatcher was doing, blackmailed her, and solicited sexual activity to keep quiet. He allegedly dates/cohabitates with another JPD officer. All of it remains alleged at this stage — the sex claims in particular would be he-said/she-said — but multiple accounts say the broader picture largely checks out.

This is classic culture rot. A critical public-safety job filled by someone who posts overtly sexual content online. Background checks that apparently didn’t catch the red flags. A department already struggling with trust now facing questions about compromised employees, possible lawsuits, and whether the quick bond-out (without ever going to Hinds County) was about protecting the city or getting her to talk.

Jackson gonna Jackson… but how many more of these do we have to see before real accountability shows up?

Watch the full breakdown, the source texts, and the unfiltered take. Drop your comments — is this the tip of the iceberg or just another one-off embarrassment?

  • The Cultures Obsession With The Nolan Wells Lie (Ep #1277)

**Episode 1277 of The Clay Edwards Show with co-host Creston Berch**

Clay and Creston dig into the culture’s obsession with the “great Nolan Wells lie” on what would have been Nolan’s 19th birthday. They unpack the latest rumors, AI-generated content from creators like Kelvin Barnett who keep dragging names (including Bart Edmondson Jr.) back into the narrative, the district attorney’s wall of silence around the grand jury process, the phone controversy, and why the prolonged uncertainty continues putting young men and their families at risk.

The conversation also covers culture rot in online comments—the quick pivot to threats, violence, and vulgarity—the fatigue it creates, free speech realities in the Culture Rot group, and why certain patterns keep repeating. Clay shares thoughts sparked by the Sean Ryan podcast with Dr. Craig Coniver on moving away from one-size-fits-all medicine toward personalized care, testosterone, and peak performance.

A free-for-all episode heavy on the Nolan Wells case, accountability, and calling out the nonsense.

  • Bout Time Brawlin Accusations, Judge Reynolds’ Hammer & Why the Nolan Wells Narrative Is Collapsing (Ep #1276)

**Episode 1276 – The Clay Edwards Show**

Solo show. No guests. Just straight talk.

Clay opens by thanking listeners for the birthday wishes and recounts a classy experience at McBee’s Lakeside (no singing, just signed cards from the staff). Then he addresses the situation with former guest and About Time Brawling promoter Jamie Childress head-on.

Childress was involved in a high-speed pursuit, crashed, and faces allegations involving a minor. Clay explains why he is not running a full FAFO treatment on someone he has had a professional relationship with, draws a clear line on conflict of interest, reads the full statement from Childress’s wife about shutting down the promotion, the lack of funds, and the pressure she’s under, and makes it clear the wife is also a victim who should be left alone. He calls the alleged conduct disgusting if true and says Mississippi will handle the consequences.

From there the show shifts to Judge Jeff Reynolds in Jackson Municipal Court, who has been setting multi-million-dollar bonds on multiple alleged sex offenders in rapid succession. Clay gives a golf clap for the approach of high bonds that actually keep dangerous people locked up and highlights the details on the latest defendants, including one charged with statutory rape who allegedly transmitted multiple STDs to the victim.

The conversation then turns to the broader double standard on race and crime. Clay plays and reacts to a video on the “black paranoia phenomenon,” connecting it directly to the Nolan Wells case and the media’s pattern of pushing unproven white-on-black conspiracy narratives while ignoring a string of recent murders of white victims by Black suspects. He lists several of those cases that received almost no national coverage and challenges the selective outrage.

New developments in the Nolan Wells case are covered: the family’s legal team (including Ben Crump) has finally said they are ready for the joint forensic examination of Nolan’s phone this week. Clay revisits the early offers by the other young men involved to turn over their phones, questions the shifting claims about deleted messages and a wiped device, and argues the race-grifting narrative has already done lasting damage regardless of what the phone ultimately shows.

Unfiltered discussion of media-driven paranoia, community code-of-silence double standards, and the refusal to apply the same energy to Black-on-Black or Black-on-white violence that gets applied when the script is flipped.

    Reality radio. No sugar added.

  • Andrew Gasser & Clay Discuss Data Center Conspiracy Theories & Nolan Wells Updates (Hr #3 / Ep #1275)

Clay is joined by Andrew Gasser for a deeper dive into data centers. They examine heat output claims, water and cooling systems, environmental and quality-of-life impacts, the Brandon project near Highway 18, and the longer-term risk of obsolescence versus orbital alternatives. The hour also covers fresh developments in the Nolan Wells case, including the NAACP joining the legal team and the family’s readiness for a joint forensic phone inspection, along with broader questions about transparency and investigation integrity.

  • The Battle Over Data Centers In Jackson, Ms. W/ Zach Servis (Hr #2 / Ep #1275)

Zach Service and Creston Birch continue with Clay as the focus shifts to the stalled BioCrete/Metro Center project and the larger question of why major economic development so often dies in Jackson. The bulk of the hour centers on the proposed data-center hub at Lake Hico (16th-section land), competing proposals, private equity interests, political hypocrisy between sites, and whether the city risks missing a rare large-scale opportunity while neighboring communities capture the benefits. Free-speech accountability and local government resistance remain major themes.
