There wasn't a live radio show this morning as I had some personal business to tend to, but I did do a nearly 3 hour livestream with the breaking news out of the city of Jackson. The legendary Kingfish joined me for the full first hour, then it was all me & the live commentors for an hour, then we jumped in on the WLBT livestream and listened to CJ Lemasters so masterfully breakdown what happened. This was really one of my favorite pieces of content I've ever been a part of.

Breaking news from Jackson Jambalaya: Another domino falls in the federal investigation of Hinds County District Attorney Jody Owens and Jackson Mayor Chokwe Antar Lumumba as Sherik Marve Smith waived indictment to a charge of conspiracy to commit bribery yesterday in U.S District Court.

Clay & Shun dive head first into Kamala Harris & Donald Trump potentially going on the Joe Rogan Podcast, then we dive into the Fulton county, Georgia judge ruling that says elections must be certified even if they suspect fraud.

I go on a 20 minute rant about why I'll never stop talking about Jackson, Mississippi and how it pisses me off when the people of Fondren and Belhaven get upset with other Jacksonians who don't live in the goldylocks zone like they do with their state funded Capitol Police protecting them while the rest of us pay for their protection on with our tax dollars.

2- Not only is Donald Trump going to end up on the Joe Rogan podcast, it looks like Rogan has also invited Kamala Harris onto his show. This should be exactly what it takes to completely nuke her campaign off the face of earth!!

3- Speaking of Kamala Harris, she continues to gaslight her dumb ass voters while putting Trumps life in danger with misinformation and disinformation about him putting his dissidents in military camps.

4- I closed out the show with an imaginary letter written by a 16 year old girl to her father in the year 2035, upset with him for voting for Trump in 2016, 2020 & 2024!!

1- JACKSON, Miss. —The Mississippi Department of Transportation will be closing two lanes in both directions of I-55 over the Pearl River in Jackson for bridge work. Set-up for the project will be underway Tuesday, and shutdowns will start Wednesday on I-55 north and south before The Stacks. MDOT Spokesperson Michael Flood said the project is a hydro-demolition over the north and southbound I-55 bridges. Workers will blast away the old road foundation. "It is basically like you are pressure washing, but you are on a construction scale, so it blasts out all the asphalt, concrete that is on top of that bridge deck, and it goes all the way down to the rebar," Flood said. "Then they check the rebar to see the shape that it is in." They will repair the sections that need it and come back with a complete overlay. But it's no small job and not one that will be handled overnight. MDOT said it is a 24-7 operation that will take until the end of the year to complete. According to MDOT, The Stack has more than 113,000 vehicles traveling daily. Commuters who travel the bridge daily said this project is not going to be easy. "We have got alternate routes posted on our website, like I-220 to get around it if you're headed north. You can also use highways 468 and 475 to Lakeland Drive to get around it, as well," Flood said. MDOT said the work is needed to extend the life of the bridges. 2- Family Adventure Park Urban Air spoke out about a series of vehicle break-ins that happened Saturday while the owners were enjoying their time in the park. They shared more on how the situation unfolded. "Whenever the people were coming back up, our security was actually walking in and it was brought to his attention and he immediately jumped into action to help those people," said Tim Kempt, manager at the park. Kempt said they have a good relationship with Jackson police, as they patrol the parking lot for urban air at no cost. Jackson police Chief Joseph Wade shared the problems these break-ins cause not only for law enforcement, but the community as well. "The first issue is that now we have another stolen gun on the streets of Jackson. Now, we are only adding to the availability and accessibility of guns in our community. And also, we have a population of individuals within our community that continue to pillage and plague our community with gun violence specifically," Wade said. Wade is asking the community to lock their doors and take their weapons out of their vehicles, especially when going out to public spaces. "I ask that the public to please take the guns out of their vehicles at night, please do. I think it's a precaution, well I know it's a precaution for law enforcement and your fellow citizens in the city of Jackson," Wade said. Kempt said they just want the community to feel safe and enjoy the park. "We are just a place where people can have fun, eat, and enjoy time with their family," Kempt said. The break-ins are still under investigation, and Jackson police have not arrested any suspects at this time. 3-PEARL, Miss. (WLBT) - A man died after a vehicle accident in Pearl on October 10. The Pearl Police Department says the incident happened around 11:17 p.m. in the 2300 block of Highway 468. A press release says the first officer who arrived at the scene witnessed a male fleeing the accident and running on Highway 468 toward his patrol vehicle. As other officers arrived at the scene, they found the wrecked vehicle around 100 yards away from the male. There, they found a woman with severe head trauma. Officers requested additional medical services and started caring for the victims. Authorities say that the male went into cardiac arrest, and medical personnel started CPR. According to the press release, the officer then ordered the male to the ground, and he complied. The male and female were taken to the University of Mississippi Medical Center for treatment. According to the press release, the male died at UMMC. The Pearl Police Department also released a statement regarding this incident to dispel social media reports claiming that officers kneeled on the male’s neck. "This incident has been reviewed by [the] Administration, and these claims are completely fabricated. This entire incident was captured on body and dash cameras. The individuals responsible for these outlandish claims should be ashamed of themselves for taking a tragic death [and] horrific scene and using it to cause irreparable harm to the community/police relationship. Thank you to the many responsible and reputable news sources who contacted the Pearl Police Department to verify the accuracy of this information prior to publishing fictitious claims."

South Jackson, Mississippi community leaders hold another useless #stoptheviolence rally over the weekend while ignoring the true root cause of the problems in their community.

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) -State, community, and faith-based leaders took to the streets Saturday sharing a plea for people to put the guns down.

Organizers are hoping to spark change as they flood the streets in Jackson with their message.

“We need unity, we need peace.”

“Where is the love in Jackson Streets?”

Those were some of the chants that rang out at the rally.

With signs in hand, rallygoers let their voices and presence be known at every corner of McDowell Road.

Many of them stopped vehicles to spread messages of love and peace.

“We are in a community right now that’s hurting. They need to see that someone cares for them and cares about them,” said Fabian Nelson, State Representative of District 66

James Hopkins is one of the organizers of the rally.

“It’s time to put the guns down and stop the violence”. He says the goal is to bring awareness to the ongoing violence that continues to plague the capital city, hoping to bring it all to an end.

“Sometimes we just need this to remind people that we are still a city. There are still people out here who love the city and people who want things to be better,” the community activists said.

According to WLBT’s Homicide tracker, the city is now at 90 homicides. Those on hand say it’s important to be out at the forefront to deter crime.

Let's cut through the noise with some clear facts, shall we? There's this twisted story making rounds on the web, claiming a cop from Pearl, Mississippi, turned an accident scene into a tragedy by using a knee on a victim's neck. But plot twist: it's all smoke and no fire.

Here's what grinds my gears: there are individuals out there, with an axe to grind against the police, who'd cook up stories faster than a street vendor at lunchtime. They're all about stirring the pot, hoping to serve up some chaos, rather than giving credit where it's due. The truth, plain and simple? That officer was on the scene doing what they're trained to do - saving lives, not ending them. Let's not let a juicy lie spoil the truth or divide us.

Black men are angry at OBAMA for trying to guilt trip them into voting for Kamala because she claims to be black, we got the audio / video of Obama's lecture as well as some wild response videos from angry, well spoken black men calling Obama out!!

Nutjob Kamala Harris is living on another planet and says that Trumps team is keeping him hidden because he's scared (she must be talking about Joe Biden), she has the audacity to say this about a man who's been shot while on campaign trail, returning to the very place he got shot at to finish his speech, another man arrested for trying to kill him on his golf course, etc. etc.

We jump into Donald Trump letting it slip that he's going to be on the Joe Rogan podcast in the next couple of weeks. We discuss what we anticipate will happen and if they episode could possibly reach the expectations of the public.
