I'm gonna keep this short and sweet, Shaun Yurtkuran and myself have been on this story since the second Hinds County D.A. Jody Owens office got raided and we've been right every step of the way. I was personally elated and vindicated yesterday when Jackson City Council VP Angelique Lee stepped down then immediately pled guilty to federal conspiracy to commit bribery charges in federal court yesterday. Today's show unpacks the whole story from the day of the first raid all the way through Lee's demise yesterday. The biggest question remains unanswered though, who's next and when will we find out?

Shaun Yurtkuran joins me this morning to discuss a wide range of topics, we hit a bunch of different subjects from Shad Vs. The Mississippi GOP to why Democrat are determined their way is the right way yet the cities they're in charge of are consistently most dangerous in the country. We wrapped up the show with a great conversation and a few really good calls on what the possible upside to the border being wide open is.

I wasn't going to clip this segment out as a stand alone because I didn't want to feel like I was taking advantage of the emotional breakdown I had on the radio this morning but after getting around 100 text and calls from family, friends and listeners I thought maybe my story could help someone else who feel like they only have 2 ways left to go (straight up or sideways).

The first segment ended up being extremely emotional as I had just seen a photo of myself from this very date 13 years ago sitting out in front of my former job at what felt like rock bottom at the time, little did I know that those moments were helping mold me into the person I am today, 13 years later. It was a good message to remind myself that no matter what you're going through in the moment, that God is sending you through that to mold you into the person he plans on you becoming.
