    Ephesians 2:11-22
Have you ever been discouraged because you felt like an outsider? Perhaps you have worked somewhere, lived somewhere, or even have been part of a faith community somewhere, and just never felt included. When Insider status feels just outside of our grasps, we can begin to grow discouraged, wondering if we could ever do enough to just fit in. For those of us who have felt this way, we find out, in Paul's letter to the early Christians in Ephesus, that we are not alone. They too felt like outsiders. Today, as we explore Ephesians 2:11-22 we discover how Jesus brings people from different and diverse backgrounds together in one body. Join us as we explore how we can function together as one body, shining brightly for God's glory, in our very divided and hostile world.

    John 3:16-17
We move into the second week of our series exploring how citizens of Heaven can live out the qualities and characteristics of God's Kingdom even now. Today, we rehearse a familiar encounter between Jesus and Nicodemus. How does Jesus help a man who seemingly had it all, realize that he truly had nothing at all? What does Jesus communicate to Nicodemus that would reveal Nicodemus' great need? And why is all of this so hopeful for us today? Join us online or in our physical building as we explore the context that led to the verse that is perhaps the most memorized in all of the Bible, John 3:16.

    Matthew 4:12-5:1
This week we begin a new series titled, "Life in the Kingdom" where we will explore how modern disciples of Jesus can live out, practice, and embody the principles and patterns of our future eternal kingdom, today! In this series, we will uncover how Jesus disrupts, transforms, refocuses, and changes everything about our lives, causing us to live in very counter-cultural manners. Join us this week as we rehearse the gospel that Jesus preached, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near!" Today, we will discover how true repentance transformed common fishermen into the pillars upon whom Jesus began to build his church. Matthew 4:12-5:1. #gospel #repentance #kingdom

  • God's Art of Restoration (Exodus 40) - audio
Pastor Chris Lenhart at Calvary Monument Bible Church
We enter our final week in this study through the book of Exodus. Our reflections have taken us through 3 distinct movements within the book. First, we explored God's heart for redemption, then we journeyed into the wilderness to witness how God reformed the Hebrew people into a new nation, Israel. Finally, we watched this newly born nation fall into the sin of idolatry, and considered how God, as the ever-faithful covenant partner, renewed and restored them. Today we conclude our series examining Exodus 40 and reflecting on the broader lessons we have explored within this narrative. How might living as if we truly believe that God's presence is with us right now, cause us to look and live differently from those who ignore the reality of his presence in their lives?

  • God's Art of Restoration (Exodus 35-39) - audio
Pastor Chris Lenhart at Calvary Monument Bible Church
We are nearing the end of our series through the book of Exodus. Today, we look at the outcome of God's restorative work with the nation of Israel. After God renews and affirms his covenant promises with Israel, he sets them off to build his tabernacle. The tabernacle would be a space where the special measure of God's presence could physically dwell with the people. As we inspect the various elements of the tabernacle, there is much we can learn in watching the entire Israelite community come together to design, order, and construct this special space. Join us as we take a peek behind the curtain of the tabernacle's development, Exodus 35-39.

  • God's Art of Restoration (Exodus 33-34) - audio
Pastor Chris Lenhart at Calvary Monument Bible Church
We cross into our final movement through the book of Exodus. Following the sin of idolatry, and the fall of the newborn Israelite nation, how would God respond? Would God abandon and forsake his covenant partner in the wilderness? The answer is a resounding, "never!" Moses discovers that the covenant faithfulness of God is immeasurably more reliable than that of his people. God will renew, and restore his people, while reaffirming his covenant with them. Along the way we discover, that faithful obedience to God actually changes and transforms us in a way that should be recognizable to the people we love and serve. Join us as we step into the sands of Exodus 33-34 and witness God's art of restoration!
