Welcome to the coaching knife when we cut to the root of the matter. In this episode, we speak to Tom Bennett OBE, behaviour advisor for schools to the Department for Education.
Focusing on managing and changing behaviour in groups, we are going to cut to the root on simple tools to improve coach/teacher interactions with children.
Tom was a teacher in the East End of London for thirteen years.
Currently, he is the Director and founder of researchED, a grass-roots, teacher-led project that aims to make teachers research-literate and pseudo-science proof.
His philosophy is that behaviour is a curriculum; it can be taught like anything else.
