There are many interesting intersections that lead a person from one side of the world to do something, and then transition their life halfway across the planet, only to find themselves doing something completely different.

Jo started out having worked hard to be a perfectionist. Everything had to be right. And the growth that comes with letting go and not having to be perfect is a big part of this conversation. 

It’s so beautiful to see when newer coaches can say, hey, it’s okay, I don’t have to be perfect. But just to be so present with their client that they create this bubble. And they, they forget about the next question that they’re just so present with them. Just hearing the magnificence of what comes from the client.

As one of the first pioneers and champions of professional coaching. She served as a founding ICF Executive Board member and was the chair of developing the Credentialing paths for both coaches and coaching schools.
