Grief is a difficult topic to discuss and a complicated feeling to navigate. In the first installment in a series on grief, Kaitlin talks with Courtney Mount, who lost her three-year-old daughter Millie to Neuroblastoma Cancer in 2020. 

Courtney is the mother of 8 living children and created Millie’s Miracle after her youngest daughter passed away. Courtney has written several books about her daughter and their cancer journey.

Leah received her Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Alabama and is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. She primarily treats families, couples, adults, and children (as part of a family unit). Lindsay primarily works with couples, families, and individuals in areas of marriage/family crisis, premarital counseling, mood disorders, trauma/abuse, sexual issues/concerns and spiritual direction.

Lindsay is certified in PREPARE-ENRICH and SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts), both of which are marital enrichment/premarital programs.  She has training in spiritual direction and utilizes the Enneagram personality tool as a Gospel-centered approach to self-growth and healing relationships. Lindsay is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC).
