This week Chad's drunk, Emily tells him to F off, Jean-luc wants doritos, and Alex encourages Jean-luc's want of doritos. It's a strange episode. After about a half hour of dumb stuff, we talk about Daytripper by Fabio Moon and Gabriel Bá. I think it's a good conversation.

This week on The Comics Podcast we travel back to the simpler time of 2013 to discuss Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Francesco Francavilla's Afterlife With Archie--in many ways the precursor to everyone's new favorite TV show, Riverdale. Before that, it's updates on Chad's house, the weather (yes we're boring don't rub it in) and saying farewell to everyone's old favorite TV show, The Clone Wars.

It's the Comics Podcast 200th episode extravaganza and we feel like celebrating. Not only do the gang talk about the standard Star Wars, 9/11 and gardening fun but they also take a deep dive into Dark Horses' 1988 Aliens Comic. This week the jig is up! Way up in fact as Jean-luc and Alex talk about Darkseid War and Geoff Johns'Aquaman. Darkseid War is the big finale to the New 52, but does it impress or get dragged down under its own ambition? Oh also there's Aquaman and fish which is fun but no fish sticks which isn't fun. I am very happy that you are reading this description but please go to bed it's late.

On this week, Emily talks about how one orders weed during these trying times of solitude, Alex and Chad make animal noises, and Jean-luc puts up with our garbage. After that it's Beastars! Y'all want to talk some manga? Well to bad!

As the title suggests, Wild Blue Yonder is the Spotlight book of the week and it comes from IDW Publishing. It's a high-paced steampunk adventure, neatly tucked away in a six issue miniseries. Depending on who you believe it's a fun read or incomprehensible gargbage. You decide! Also, stay safe and paint miniatures/eat Taco Bell.

This relaunch made a number of lasting changes to the universe and it was also the defining event that got Alex and Jean-Luc into reading comics.
