The Comics Podcast

This week the whole gang is here and they're swiping right on some interesting topics. Jean-Luc meets a satanist, Chad stakes a claim to the title of Jeff Lemire, and Alex has too much fun editing this show. They also talk about some comics including Batman #87, Wonder Woman #750, Guardians Of The Galaxy #1, Family Tree #3, Middlewest #14, and The Old Guard: Force Multiplied #2. Also there's a special treat at the end of the show for all you Chad fans. Kisses!

This week Jean-Luc and Chad run a duo show as Alex deals with the wonders of internet issues. They talk about Chad's upcoming book, Stormbreather, revisiting the Animorphs series, as well as the intricasies of modern day discourse. They also find time to talk about three whole comics, with the only good one from DC Comics. What a strange world we live in.

Holy heck this is one action packed episode! Not only are Chad, Jean-Luc and Alex here but they also say things! Jean-Luc is sick... and tired of capitalism and bad movies, Alex is writing this description and Chad liked the new Star Wars movie. More importantly though, you can listen to Chad's Taylor Swift cover at the end of the show! They also find time to talk about comics including Star Wars: The Rise of Kylo Ren from Marvel, Batman #86 from DC, and Gideon Falls + Ascender from Jeff Lemire. Yes, he is his own publisher.

Friend of the podcast Emily sits down with Chad to talk about the most interesting movie of 2019! CATS! Y'all ready to learn about that Grizzebella and Munkestrap and Old Deuteronomy? Gotta have Old in her name or it doesn't count. What about Mumblejerry and Rumpleteaser? Or the villain MACAVITY who has the best song.

Enjoy or don't. Happy 2020

Hiya alL!This week on ye olde Comics Podcast the whole gang is here to ring in the new year. What resolutions have they come up with and will Jean-Luc travel 1080 miles to get Ring Fit? Alex read all the DC books but only one was good. We also cover the new Star Wars #1, and I Can Sell You A Body from IDW. Chad didn't edit this show so please direct all your angry editing emails to Jean-Luc. You may have to catch him though.

We just love our Star Wars here at The Comics Podcast =)

Hey everyone! On this week's end-of-year special, Jean, Chad, and Alex sit down with a list of over 40 comic books and reduce it down to the best ten of the year. Enjoy! :)

On this week's top-10 extravaganza, Jean-luc, Alex, and Chad talk about their favorite movies, music, video games, and tv shows of the year. They also touch on Batman 85 and Batman The Last Knight. Next week will be our big top-10 comic book episode, so be prepared for an overview of the best comics of the year, and probably some debate on what is and isn't perfect.

Cheers everyone! And happy holidays from all of us :)

Huh. Last one didn't work. Let's try again. Too lazy to retype show notes, so expect stupidity and lots of comic book talk.
