The toddler years can be the most challenging and frustrating years of development for parents, but it can also be the most rewarding, impactful, and life changing.
In this episode, I discuss; effective behavior modification for unwanted behaviors, effective use of time outs that actually work, sleep training, successful potty training, and formulating healthy eating habits.
Anxiety does not always look like a nervous child and depression does not always look like a sad child. Sometimes it can look like a quiet, angry, difficult child, or a child with behavior outbursts.
Tune is as I uncover some of the "not so common" behaviors that are seen in children when they are having a difficult time coping with feelings of anxiety, low moods. What to look for, what to do and how to help.
Interactive exercise directed toward teens and tweens to learn how to talk to "us" in a positive way, learn to shape the inner voice to be motivational and supportive rather than critical and sabotaging. To learn how to boost our own self confidence to improve moods, decrease anxiety, and raise awareness about the intrinsic self and to ultimately decrease bully - like behavior.

In this episode I discuss particular age groups of school age children / teens who were the kids mostly affected during the height of covid. What developmental stages did they miss for emotional / social development; how to fill in the gaps for what they may have missed. What does this look like in terms of anxiety, emotional regulation, and depression? Tune is as I also discuss suicidally among teens and what to look for. Some of the warning signs aren't always so prevalent.
