I sit down with Ex professional footballer Simon Ramsden.

This local lad breaks his life story down. Right back from playing for Sunderland, his childhood dream to being let go by Mick Mccarthy.

He then went on to play for various other clubs and played in the champions league.

It all came crashing down when his mental health deteriorated, to the point where he ate glass on a night out with friends.

What he did after was crazy.

Now - a personal trainer with his brand @sr_fitnesslife he is building a coaching business which is changing the lives of many BUT…

The end of the month he will doing 37 hours of training with no sleep, all for the passing of his dear friend who lost his battle with cancer.

A beacon of hope for people of the north east.
