On this episode we take it back to a topic we've covered in the past throughout our podcast's lifetime... MEDITATION. This time we dive deeper into the parts that have made it such a significant practise for us, our point of view when we began, why we started, why we recommend it, and some of our personal progressions over the years. The simplest way to discuss meditation is by first understanding that it is simply the act of paying very close attention to our thoughts, our reactions to them, and our ensuing behaviours as a result. It's about being mindful, aware, and conscious of what the external world and it's variables present to us on an ongoing basis. It's not so much about closing your eyes and clearing your thoughts, as it is opening your awareness and paying attention to your thoughts. Let's get right into it!
Every year around this time, MOST people (not everyone) will take their foot off the proverbial gas pedal. It's a time where 'Out of office' messages are BOOMING word to Gary Vee. So what exactly does that mean and why does it even matter?
On this episode (as previously discussed on Ep. 85) we share the importance of keeping a 'Stay Ready So You Ain't Gotta Get Ready' mentality in preparation for the final quarter of the year. However, instead of creating a challenge for the month of August, due to the unforeseen circumstances of 2020 (The Pandemic)...we are getting suited and booted for a STRONG SEPTEMBER packed with challenges that we share throughout the episode.
Remember... IT'S NOT HOW YOU START (the year)... IT's HOW YOU CLOSE IT OUT!!!

"Right Knowledge Corrects Wrong Behaviour" - Manny P
The current landscape of the world right now is one that we've all seen before...some of us experiencing it our entire existence. RACISM is not a topic discussed nearly enough among friends of different races, families, colleagues, etc... The fact of the matter is that this is NOT a black vs white vs brown vs yellow... None of that. This is about right vs wrong and once again the world is suffering because there is still too much of the wrong outweighing the good.
On episode 129 hosts Bwanka & Sturr navigate the experiences they've had while 'Living Black' in Canada. It gives you a deeper understanding of how it's affected our lives in pretty much every category of life. You'll hear some painful stories, as well as perspectives from two black men on how to digest the current landscape and ways to learn/unlearn in order for us to grow through what we're going through. Let's get right into it!
